TL;DR I left without ordering food and won't ever come back.

I walked in and was greeted by a friendly young lady at the register. I told her it was my first time there and that I was going to be a minute. I wanted to see what all they had and get something great for the family to enjoy. She directed me to the laminated menus that they had on the table to look at so I can have a seat instead of staring towards the ceiling for a while to look at the menu.

I was about to spend close to $80 on food with no hesitation. First, I ordered the 12" Chicago Deep Dish Fuzzy's Special Pizza. The menu I was TOLD TO LOOK AT said it was $14.95 PLUS an additional $2 to make it a deep dish. I thought this was a little high for a TWELVE inch pizza, but figured with a mom and pop place they probably use great ingredients and probably don't skimp out on the quantity. I mean... They DO have a sign in the window next to the door that says they don't settle for less when it comes to their ingredients. Then I went to order the Alaskan Salmon Fettuccini Alfredo which, according to the menu I was handed, was $12.95 + an additional $2 for adding Salmon. No problem! She said they did not have that. Alright, lets go with the shrimp instead. The owner/manager was about 6 feet from the cashier, and she asked how much the shrimp alfredo was. He said it was $18, so I pointed out to THE MANAGER that the menu I was handed said the price was less than that($2 or $3). He just brushed me off and said "Yeah well we have new menus coming in"... So I thought about it and decided that wasn't right, but what the hell, my lady loves alfredo, is at home waiting for dinner, and I want to treat her to something we haven't tried. Its just a couple dollars... But I was starting to get a bad taste in my mouth.

I was also about to order a 10pc wings for $10.95+tax and an order of 4 pizza rolls for $8.95+tax as well, but something told me to ask how much the twelve inch deep dish pizza was that I already ordered and guess what.. it was also a dollar or two more than what the menu said. At this point I just told the cashier to cancel my order. I shouldn't have to ask how much every item is when I have a damn menu in my hand! How terrible would it have looked if I expected the price to be what was on the menu, but after I ordered, it was $5-$10 more? No thanks.

I worked industry for years and cut most places a break if they mess up. It happens to all of us. This was just a poor excuse for "quality ingredients and customer service" to make an extra buck. Maybe the ingredients are good. I'll never know. The impression made by the manager/owner and piss poor pricing is enough for me to NEVER return. That is NOT how you treat a new customer on their first time.
