I found a bug in my food. I bought 2 orders of the 22 boiled shrimp with sausage, potatoes, & corn on last night. Which I paid $35.35. I ate the leftovers today. When I finished eating the shrimp. I noticed something black floating in the juice. It was a nice size bug. I took the bug to them rolled up in a napkin & the container with my scraps left in there. When I gave the man my receipt & the items, including the bug. He told me I ate all my food. I probably put the bug in there myself. How ridiculous?? I asked for a full refund. They only gave me $14.00 back for one order & told me they couldn't refund me for the other order cause I ate it. I actually bought it for somebody else & they ate it last night. I finished mines today. It wasn't until I finished that I noticed the bug. Which makes common sense. The container is no longer full. Which mean you can see what's in the juice very well. With a container full of shrimp & red juice. How would I see a dead bug at the bottom of the container? They argued with me about it. I told them to just pay me whatever they're going to give me, but I'll never come back. That's horrible customer serive. It shows they don't appreciate they're customers. I've gotten the same exact food from them 4 weeks in a row. Today was just the day. Really when you look around you can tell the facility itself is not that clean & kept up.I should've know better. I will NEVER go back. I'm a grown woman that does not have time to play games. I don't have that kind of time in my day to drive from my home all the way there just to argue & try to get money back from some food I obviously ate. I'm not hard up for money at all. Arrived at the earliest time it was expected to be ready, it wasn’t ready/done yet (no problem so it should be freshly cooked). Staff comes from the back with the bag completely stapled as if it was a pickup but understandable so I didn’t check the order. Arrived home only to find that it wasn’t freshly cooked, warm approaching cold at best and the fish & shrimp combo was missing the fish. Called immediately but no answer. We didn’t feel like going back and took the L since we used a DoorDash gift card.
