Walked in and up to place the order... Mind you there's no one in line, place is pretty much dead! the lady just ignored me as I stood there at least 2 minutes as she was making a taco to go for someone that had ordered and was sitting waiting... So I finally was asked what I wanted, I said a large menudo. I get the check and go to pay it's 13.99 then the lady said $15.14 and I get home and is seemed like they got me!!! Because this doesn't seem like a large to me. I'll stick to my Pancho's on Griggs Rd. Less than $12 and taste better and a bigger portion.

Awesome food! Great tacos, and Chile rellanos. Amazing pan dulce! Friendly employees, authentic atmosphere, imported sodas, and all the salsa and extras you could want.

The only reason why I gave them 2 stars is because their cakes and bread were delicious but other than that, their customer service surely needs some IMPROVING. 2 out of the 3 employees behind the bakery counter were polite but very slow with attending me and my sister. i was surprised it wasn't packed as it normally would be, given that it was on Mother's day. We were looking at the cake section when one lady stood by us in order to help us. My sister asked her questions about a certain cake so I took it upon myself to look over the sweet breads and cookies in order to get more things to eat along with the cake. After my sister chose a certain cake, the lady that attended us disappeared to the back after we let her know which one we wanted. The other lady asked us what other things did we want, so we began to choose our goodies. My sister let her know we were also going to be taking a cake (because apparently the other lady never returned). This lady kept looking over at the cake section, so my sister went to point out which one it was, so I took it upon myself to take the bags she put our cookies and bread in and walked to the the register where another customer was waiting to get check out. As I patiently waited, another lady appeared to check out the customer, (VERY SLOWLY) and when it was my turn, she never ONCE looked up at me, she kept eyeing the previous customer until they sat down with their family. Completely ignoring me, she slowly took my bags and I let her know I was also going to purchase the cake the other lady was packing. Again, she kept her eye on the previous customer, I had to pat the counter table a few times so she can snap out of it. I believe she was trying to see if the customer took more than what she paid for, but when she had another customer to take care of you would think she can at least look friendly while trying to take care of me. FINALLY she took my credit card and turned around to swipe my card on their machine, THEN a phone call came in for her. She completely IGNORED my transaction and slowly walked to the girl holding the phone and took away and began to talk to the person. By this point, I was IMPATIENTLY FURIOUS, my sister came to the register and asked me what was wrong and what was the hold up, so I purposely pointed to the lady and said that she has been acting this way the entire time that I was trying to purchase everything! She finally came back with my receipt to sign, (STILL TALKING ON THE PHONE), and rushed my signature. I looked at her and guess where eyes were, GLUED TO THE PREVIOUS CUSTOMER AND HER TABLE! And to think I was gonna wish her a happy mother's day, I most likely still would have been ignored :/ IMPROVE YOUR SERVICE! FYI, I'M HISPANIC AND I LIVE CLOSE BY THIS BAKERY, I TAKE MUCH PRIDE TO THESE LITTLE HEAVEN ON EARTH BAKERIES, BUT THIS CERTAIN TIME, I WAS SO...

I use to love going to this place, but after today NEVER again! The lack of costumer service and high prices were something I could deal with because the quality of food was good. But today I was one of the first people there and my order took about 40 mins and several questions on to where my order was. Once I got my order is was totally wrong and missing items. I was hungry and frustrated so just took the food. The food wasn’t even as good. The barbacoa was dry and the beans tasted rancid. Also the bread wasn’t fresh like it usually is. They did have more people than usual. Maybe they aren’t equipped to handle all the new business they’re getting bc quality...

Ready for the bomb diggity of all sweet bread (pan dulce)? Come on down to Lawndale, and come early for the freshest explosion of amaze balls in your mouth. This place is not around the corner from where I live, but it's worth the 25 minute drive. My family and I try to go a couple of times a month (usually on Saturday mornings), and we load up! The prices are low, we can drop a $20, and walk out with three bags full of conchas, empanadas, and puerquitos that will nearly melt in your mouth! Also, our ultimate favorite is the marble cake...seriously, THE BEST EVER. Do yourself a favor and...
