I recently dined at Le 2 Seafood on Antoine Drive in Houston, Texas, and my overall experience was decent, with a few notable highlights and one unfortunate issue. The standout dishes at Le 2 Seafood were the fried fish and shrimp, as well as their Cajun rice. These items truly hit the mark, with delicious flavors and perfectly cooked seafood. It's clear that the kitchen excels in preparing these staples of seafood cuisine. However, my dining experience was marred by a concerning incident. I ordered fried oysters, and to my disappointment, I found that one of them was expired, which subsequently made me sick. This was a significant letdown and a lapse in their food quality control, as I would expect any restaurant to thoroughly check the freshness of their ingredients before serving them to customers. Despite this unfortunate incident, the staff was responsive and took appropriate action to address my concern. They showed concern for my well-being and handled the situation professionally. In conclusion, Le 2 Seafood in Houston offers some delicious seafood dishes, particularly their fried fish, shrimp, and Cajun rice. However, my experience was tainted by an expired oyster that made me ill. It's my hope that they take this feedback seriously and improve their quality control to ensure all patrons have a safe and enjoyable dining experience in the future.

A coworker recommended Le Seafood so I decided to drop by right after work. So glad I did. Ordered 2 of the 2 piece fried catfish and 6 large shrimp, one with fries and the other with the hush puppies. I was a bit skeptical of the hush puppies, but after tasting one so glad I got them. They are crunchy on the outside, soft and buttery on the inside with bits of corn. Just enough to add a different texture which blends so well with each bite. The fish was crispy even after getting it home and was seasoned nicely. Not bland at all. The fish was meaty without being fishy tasting. The shrimp was almost a prawn and deveined. Nothing worse than non-deveined shrimp. The shrimp was nicely battered and crispy without being chewy. For my first time visiting Le Seafood I will definitely return and this time extra hush puppies.

Yesterday ordered the etoufee with rice and the 2pc catfish with salad. The fish was ok fried hard but not enough seasoning. The etoufee was inedible absolutely too spicy. Its runny like a soup or gumbo. I still have the entire full dish. When i called to point this out and ask why they don't post/ask for heat levels. I was told "no one else complains etoufee is too hot". She tells me next time i will know to ask for not spicy. NO U JUST LOST MY BUSINESS. PERIOD. 1st/laat time there💯😳

Disappointing Experience at Your Restaurant - Feedback from a Regular Customer

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent visit to your establishment. As a regular customer who has consistently enjoyed the food and service at your restaurant, I was taken aback by the experience I had on my most recent visit.

On this occasion, I ordered a meal consisting of two pieces of catfish, six large shrimp, and a side of fries. Unfortunately, the food I received was cold and overcooked. The fries, in particular, appeared to have been reheated multiple times, resulting in an unappetizing and overly crispy texture. This was quite a departure from the high-quality meals I am accustomed to receiving at your restaurant.

Adding to my disappointment was the response I received from the cashier on duty when I brought up these issues. Rather than addressing my concerns with the professionalism and courtesy I have come to expect, he was dismissive and impolite. This lack of respect for a customer's feedback was deeply disheartening.

I have always enjoyed dining at your restaurant, which is why this experience was especially surprising and disappointing. Quality food and exceptional customer service are the hallmarks of your establishment, and I believe this incident does not reflect the standards you strive to uphold.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously and take the necessary steps to ensure that such an incident does not recur. As a loyal customer, I am hesitant to return after this experience, but I am hopeful that this can be addressed so that I can continue to enjoy the excellent service and food I have always appreciated at your restaurant.

Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback. I look forward to hearing from you and hope for a positive...

My first, only & will be my last visit to Le #2 Seafood on Antoine Dr was terrible. I ordered a catfish & shrimp combo plate with cajun rice & a side of fries. I initially asked what fish they had & was told catfish & tilapia. I asked was the catfish actual catfish or swai & was told catfish. When I got to the car, I tasted my food. The fish was definitely not catfish. I know catfish. I fry catfish quite often. I've been eating & frying catfish for over 40 years. The fish was slick & gel like on the inside not flaky like catfish. Also the fries were greasy & tasted fishy & the shrimp was hard. Of course I couldn't get a refund. What a waste of money. I'll never go back & definitely won't recommend Le #2 Seafood to anyone. Also I went to the restroom to wash my hands & it look like it should have been condemned. The sink & toilet was so disgusting. They were so filthy tgat I almost gagged. Had I seen that before I placed my order, I would have walked away without buying anything. I have a good mind to report them to the proper agency to inspect the fish they claim to sell & the health department for that restroom. I could glance back into the kitchen area every now & then & it looked clean from what I could see. I wish zero stars was an...
