Inforgpt to press post on this review. It was last fall. The food is amazing! Let me say that as loud as I can! Be sure to tip the chefs. The wait staff is sweet and polite. They are moving constantly. They are sweating. They are packaging plates. They don't have time to babysit patrons like they will once fully staffed. But it appears that most people in there are used to the wait. I was the first order of the day via DoorDash. I ordered the night before. That order was ready-ish around 12:30. But Door Dash doesn't offer the full menu options. So when I got there I asked to add to my order. I wanted waffles and jackfruit wings. I was given a 15 minute projected wait. That took a full hour for it to be ready. I say that to say that there were THAT many new orders that came in while I waited. Kuddos!!! I had to rush out in a hurry for an appointment so I was a bit abrupt with the ladies going out. But they were running and hustling. The owners do need to support the order taking process a little better if the business grows at this pace. Were I not in a rush I would have sat and enjoyed the people, and ambience. I grew up near by. So this is my hood. I would love for this restaurant to thrive for years to come! The signage confused me. It's in a nice sized building that actually houses two restaurants. One vegan. One serves meat. They both seem to serve soul food. My new vegan spot is open every day except Mondays. I am not disappointed. Place your order early. Call in if you can get through on the phone. Or stop in, order and run an errand, maybe. You want your food fresh and not rushed. So be patient. Buy a bag of vegan chocolate chip and pecan cookies and pasion fruit tea to enjoy while you wait.

Visited this food truck. The food was so good, I’m sad the restaurant closed but glad they are still around. The location was easily accessible & the service was friendly. I had the surf & turf with cauliflower. I would definitely visit again. They are also available for catering. Updated 9/10/2022 The food truck is now a restaurant. The food was amazing. We had chicken and waffles, fish, greens, mac n cheese, dirty rice, cucumber lemonade, and pineapple lemonade. The cucumber lemonade was amazing but the pineapple lemonade was not as good. My son is not a vegan but loved the mac n cheese. He also commented that the waffles much tasted better than regular waffles. Check out the pics.

It would be 5 stars if the service was better. Unfortunately, the service & lack of preparation kinda ruins the experience. The food is great! I was very impressed with the meat substitutes. I enjoyed the fried “chicken”(cauliflower) and boudin balls the most. Everything is vegan, including the Mac and cheese. However, the atmosphere is a bit...off. The restaurant is inside a run down bar, so it feels a bit weird to be eating inside of a club scene. It’s dark & feels out of place/a bit icky. The food takes wayyyyyy too long & the servers seem just as lost as the customers inside. I truly wish The overrall experience was better. Order to go if you must!

Lindianas was by far the worst restuarant experience of my life . Here is why:

My boyfriend and I arrived at 1:50 pm and there were 3 other patrons waiting to be seated. The greeter came out and told us there was a yoga group taking all tables but that we would be seated shortly. About 45 min. later we got our table.

They do not have menus. After waiting 40 minutes at our table with no menu a server asked what we wanted to order. He told us what they were serving that day. We had to remember the entire menu to order.

The water and iced tea was on a table for self serve. Both containers were near empty and never refilled. My boyfriend and I ended up sharing a glass of iced tea.

Another 45 min. passed and we had no food, and no one check on us. At this point we debated leaving but had already invested time waiting so decided to stick it out because i'd been wanting to try their food .

The server comes to our table 45min after being seated to Re Ask what our order was because he dropped his stack of orders written down and had everyones order mixed up.

We re told him our order.

15 minutes later ANOTHER server comes up and asks what our order was so we told her. She then says they are sold out of the boudain balls we ordered so we got the cauliflower wings instead. (both of our patience is really being tested at this point)

We hear a man yelling that the restuarant was his and he would break down the doors and burn the place down. [seemed to be an angry family member. The restuarant is in a house)

Our food was brought out one by one   at 4:45pm. (2.5 hours of waiting with no sign of food or explanations)

I am saddened and disgusted. I was really looking forward to trying Lindianas. This was the worst restuarant experience if my life.

There was only 4 tables with people but the service was so slow I truly felt we would never get our food.

This restuarant will test your patience And Sanity. The best part about Lindianas was LEAVING. My boyfriend and I were severely disappointed.  We left exhausted, upset, and feeling like fools for even going in the first place.

I can not and will not recommend Lindianas or ever be back. I REALLY wanted to like this place being a small family owned /black owned business and support but I was...

Update: One star because the food isn’t even worth it. I would rate them no stars if I could. It took TWO HOURS to get our order. They advertised as being able to order on DoorDash and the didn’t even have the system set up when I went to pick up our order. They still never answer the phone, there’s no way to get in contact with them, the menu is never correct so you have no idea what you’re able to order. The quantity of food for $20 is insanely small. We tried to give them another chance but it’s the same horrible experience 2 years later. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had ordering food.

Rating 2 stars for service and reliability. The food is AMAZING. Out of this world good. But the service is beyond frustrating. The menu changes daily and is never posted anywhere online to check from day to day. It’s sometimes not even posted at the truck. When we asked about the menu in person, they were vague and acted like it was an inconvenience to tell us everything they had that day. Well how are we supposed to know what to order? The phone is never answered and different numbers are posted on different sites. Sometimes we’ll arrive, order, and then be told something is out of stock, but there is no indication on the menu or anything crossed out. Overall ordering is just a very frustrating experience and there is no communication with the customer base. You never know what’s being served or what they’re out of or if they’re sold out or open and you have no way to check or get in touch with anyone to do something as simple as...
