Sicily Pizza & Pasta (Sipipa) — Restaurant in Houston

NO THIN CRUST!!! 5 stars for the taste. It’s a good pizza BUT I’ve order from them 5 times now. First time I ordered regular crust, everytime after Ive ordered thin crust but always get regular crust. I’ve tried ordering in person, over the phone and through the online store. The receipt always verifies my order order of thin crust but it always the same old regular crust. I’ve tried ordering the thin and the Italian thin, always regular though upon pick up. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a good pizza but LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dominos thin crust!! Sipipa’s online picture of their thin crust looks amazing but I can’t seem to get it in store. If I could get a true thin crust from them with their delicious sauces and toppings it would be the perfect pizza. Guessing this is just an issue with the location close to me in Stafford. It’s a shame. If you want a true thin crust go to Domino’s (New York style is perfect!)If you want a nice change of pace from Domino’s but am okay with regular crust all the time I would still recommend trying Sicily’s. I had a horrible experience with them today. It was my first time ordering with them and it will be the last. I ordered through uber eats and a gave specific notes for no cheese on my eggplant and spaghetti and they thought that meant to cheese and no spaghetti. Why would I say no spaghetti , I would have just ordered plain eggplant instead of paying the full meal. And they didn't bother to call and ask me they just made it the way they thought was right. Then I call nicely to let them know and they tell me that they can deliver but I have to pay for them to deliver , I told them I have already paid for my meal and the delivery. I told them it was their mistake , I asked to speak to manager , Ben and they refused to put him on phone. They told me to call uber eats to handle it. I tried but couldn't get through. I called restaurant back to ask for manager and they told me he's not in and I said ok have him call me back , left my name and number and he never called me back. Most of the negative reviews MUST be trolls as we've been regularly ordering for 4 years now and never experienced anything close to these complaints. Food is always super fresh, appropriately hot or cold, well packaged and low priced (especially considering the quality of the ingredients). Delivery is always quick (30 to 40 minutes) and staff is friendly and polite. When we call they know by caller id it's us and whether it's for home or office. Only had a problem once when a new woman on the phone was abrupt and messed up our order. When I called and complained, the manager generously and graciously compensated for the inconvenience by giving us full credit on our next order and apologized profusely. The woman was immediately 'let go' because of similar complaints from other patrons. My favorites are the Greek salad, Margarita pizza and strawberry cheesecake. Others here in the office and at home have their favorites too...too...
