Houston | New Thai Restaurant to Check Out for the New Year 🇹🇭😋‼️

Pretty popular spot in the Commons area serving Thai food, nestled in a corner next to La Cocina and Chick fil a. Food is a little expensive but delicious and you get a decent portion. It's a great option if you're craving something different than the typical American or Tex-Mex. I ordered the red curry with white rice. It was actually quite good! The portion size is relatively big, and the red curry is served in a little bowl separate from the rice which is great if you don't want to eat it all in one sitting or don't want your rice swimming in sauce. While not the best curry I've ever had, the curry was still delicious and creamy with the sweet/savoriness of the coconut milk pairing well with the tender chicken breast and spicy chili oil. Tender bamboo shoots also added some nice texture and flavor. The white rice was also solid, good for soaking up broth.

Excellent pad Thai. But my favorite is the Pad Kee Mao.

Hi, I went there to order the chicken fried rice for lunch. I was the first one in the line, however, my food came out last. I have to wait for 6 more people to get the food, before my turn comes. The employee name, Zailee, was so rude to me. I was asking her about my order, she responded very badly and got mad at me when I am the one who is ordering the food. The food is good, that is why I came back. However, the service is so bad. I will not return there again. Please train your employees to treat the customer with respect. She didn’t...

Located in the food court at the Commons in the Medical Center, its not bad for Asian style fast food, especially if you're not in the mood for the other offerings. Though more generic westernized Asian food, it's still delicious and you get a very generous serving of food for the money. Definitely perfect for a student budget. And since this is located in the food court, there is plenty of outdoor and...
