THEY LIE ABOUT PRICES ON THEIR WEBSITE! This is called a bait and switch, which is completely illegal!!! Technically, if the price is listed, they have to give it to you for that price You can Google what I’m saying if you don’t believe me They cannot just post a price and then charge you something different

find out about a bait and switch… This is exactly what they’re trying to do their website right now!!!! Be careful ordering from these people!

We just called them as soon as they opened around 12:20 PM

We spoke to the hostess, who was very sweet But then we were transferred to the manager, whose name is Jerry

We were trying to figure out why the Huntington Beach website was telling us different prices than the hostess was telling us… SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS AND SCREEN RECORD! Those are NOT their prices!? Before we could even ask him, this question, he started asking us if we were going to be dining with them and what time we were coming in and bombarded us with a bunch of questions that we didn’t need to answer that did not help us at all with what we were trying to accomplish

He was very very hostile because we were inquiring about why the website had different prices? and he didn’t like that apparently???

we decided not to even eat here just because of his tone of voice on the phone.

And the way he was speaking to us! It was VERY RUDE we called somewhere else! And they were NICE So thanks 🙏🏼 for steering us away!

We were about to drop $150 on this place but this is what you get Jerry for not being nice to people We don’t trust you anymore

Because of your behavior today you just lost THOUSANDS for your company! My wife has a corporate account and regularly caters for her clients!!!

This person was rushing us off the phone and would not even take the order himself and passed us back to the hostess before I was even done speaking to him!

So you get one star Jerry Also, please fix your menu instead of talking to customers the way you just di

It’s not OUR fault you have not updated your website !!!!

You don’t have to be rude because your items are not correct on the screen you display (please see attached) You literally said to us “ just tell me what you want and I’ll tell you how much it costs” Do you understand how rude that sounds to people who are about to spend a lot of money on your place? (And it wasn’t just WHAT u said it was HOW u said it!) Good luck with THAT attitude all day brother.

I really don’t think you understand what you just did JERRY

I wish I could say it was a pleasure speaking to you,...

Last night's dinner experience was very disappointing, uncomfortable, and awkward. Our server was great and did what he could but I can't help but feel discriminated against because of our party of "color". This was the first time back to visit Pacific City after the pandemic so I understand that there were requirements to follow so maybe, just maybe I was wrong. We stayed because my friend invited us to hear her friend play in the band. We thought it would be fun. So my family got there early. This place was full and hardly any tables open but there was one outside of the exit. It was a great view of the street and sunset but as it got darker, it got colder and their heating lamps around us were all broken.

I was concerned that we would be forgotten so I went back to the front and asked for menus. When our server showed up he asked us if we were ready for our order and we barely even looked at the menu so I asked if I can scan their menu on my phone and he noticed that our table didn't even have the sticker for us to scan their menu. It was a really pathetic table. Even if tables were opening, they could have moved us to a better one behind the glass with the working heaters but I was told that "those tables are reserved". Really? They were empty for more 30 minutes.

We could have walked away but because I was meeting my friend who had a party of six and arrived later I couldn't help but see that they were treated differently and were given a better table then ours which was behind the glass, with heaters on. So was it because they were a party that was not of color?

The food is not a big deal, not worth the wait or the visit. Lucille's serves better. They ran out of chicken and cornbread... what? For real?? My salad did not look like what was posted on the website. :|

I give our server, Finn 4 stars because he did his best and was always apologetic, the food 3 stars and our table 1 star. which equals 1.6 stars. Will I try them...

On a rainy weeknight, my friend and I ventured in here to a mostly full dining floor with live country music (no extra charge) to go along with our dinner.

Kentucky Breakfast (Maker's 46 Kentucky Bourbon, orange liqueur, lemon sour, orange marmalade, club soda) - I enjoyed this bourbon forward drink that had a little citrus influence. Served straight but chilled, no rocks.

1/2 Lb of Burnt Ends + 2 Sides ($14.95) - A large portion of that awesome part of the brisket, this did not disappoint. Thick, square cut chunks of beef, tender, meaty, fatty, and oh so smoky. The dry rub and the smokiness was in there to stay. They serve it unsauced, instead letting you add your own BBQ sauce at the table. There are three types of BBQ sauce... Vinegar, Beer and Spicy. I liked the Beer and the Spicy the best.

Jalapeno Corn Bread - A little dry, but other than that, I was diggin' this. Slapping a little extra butter on solved most of that.

Mac 'n' Cheese - This was disappointing. It was runny and it didn't taste very cheesy. I may as well have melted some Velveeta.

Old Crow has a large open dining floor that can accommodate large parties, but there might be a wait on busy nights or weekends. It has TVs on everywhere and a fun crowd. From reading other reviews it seems as if the BBQ can be hit or miss, but my burnt ends were awesome. The mac 'n' cheese was disappointing and my friend's baked beans were very plain. If me and my friends are at Pacific City and BBQ is what they are craving, I'd come back again, I'd just choose a...

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with Old Crow. I ordered the combo of brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. My side choices were mac n cheese and their jalapeño cheese cornbread. When my plate arrived, I was surprised by the cut of the brisket. It looked more like a slab of prime rib. It was leathery and chewy with not much flavor. The pulled pork was ok- nothing special. The ribs were dry rubbed and fell off the bone. They were not the best I've ever had, but were ok. The cornbread was VERY dry and even though they added cheese and jalapeños, it tasted like standard cornbread. The mac n cheese was adequately moist, but tasted like the cheese sauce was made from Velveeta. I ordered a midori margarita, which again was just ok. My family ordered jalapeños wrapped in bacon and wings for an appetizer. The wings were BIG, full of meat and pretty darn tasty. The jalapeños also tasted very good, but I could only eat 1 because they were extremely spicy and I like mine to be de-veined. The ambiance is country, cowboy boots, country music, and smiling faces on the employees. The staff was friendly and kind. We had a great table with a view of the ocean and the beach at sunset. I'd like to say that I would go back, but the flavor of the food doesn't cut the mustard. Happy Trails Old Crow.
