First time visiting and so wanted a good experience since the only other Poke in downtown is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I was the only customer in the restaraunt the entire encounter. I can only speak on the veggie poke bowl I ordered and the service I received today at 4:30ish. To start, I was made to pay first, which makes no sense when you are not exactly sure what you want. They have regular and large sample containers but I was told that the register only does regular size for the bowl I wanted so they can't do it (she said she would ask manager when she sees her). Was told they have no sauces for poke, so I had to walk over and show the employee the sauces. Employee wearing a mask and because there is a tall glass partition and music playing, you can't hear anything she says. I literally had to walk to the edge and ask her to repeat everything. Now, for the food. I did not get fish, so I can't say anything about that. The rice, edamame, and crab were the only toppings I can honestly say were "mediocre" and edible if that is your vibe. The avocado was $1.50 extra and was one tiny piece and hard as a rock. The cucumber was sitting in its juice and was way too slimy. Not sure what the crunchy stuff she put on the bowl was, because I could not hear her and she put it on before I could answer but it had no particular flavor (kind of like rice krispy). The crispy onion did not taste right and the mandarin oranges did not make sense but they were ok. Lastly, if the spicy mayo had been decent, it could have saved the bowl, but it was sad and had no flavor at all, just a hint of hot. I just can't recommend someone spending $15-20 on a bowl like this. The space feels new but the process is very chaotic from the get go. The other items may be good, but I...
Read moreI recommend if you’re in the mood for poke, very easy to order since you just write on a slip what you want and then order for your toppings—which you’re allowed pretty much as many toppings as you can possibly fit in the bowl. The only demerit here is that the fish didn’t taste as fresh as I expected but still good.
We order to go and manage to get there before closing time and they were still very accommodating.
I would definitely recommend stopping by here. The food was delicious and had a lot of...
Read moreIf o could put 0, I would do it. I’ve just bought a smoothie and let me tell you, if you are expecting to have a smoothie from fruits (like how It supposed to be) then you will be disappointed like me right now. Because their smoothies made from a little bit of fruit, and then on top of that you will have syrups and extremely radioactive taste. I did a sip of this thing and threw it away in the...
