We stopped by on a big 8 hour drive. We don't usually eat at Subway so it was a special treat for our family. As we began to order we forgot to add in details and the guy working there was so annoyed and after asking me 3 clarifying questions about size and bread and if I wanted it toasted he proceeded to do a very huge sigh of annoyance and declared in frustration "every time!" I was taken aback because isn't his job to serve? What else is he going to be doing once we've ordered? Sit there? Why act like taking 20 extra seconds is so painstakingly hard? I hope he was just having s bad day but it made me feel like such a burden and left me not feeling very happy to have eaten here. I think there needs to be better employee training on what your job is. It's not just getting someone food. It can be so much more. Your attitude affects thr people you serve and if you act like it's so difficult to ask a few questions it just doesn't make your customers feel very good. I hope they can have a conversation and chsnge the mentality of the workers bc I think it could make such a difference. The way I'm treated affects everything. Maybe the atmosphere was OK but with the icky sinking feeling in my chest and maybe thr food is OK but eating it feeling this way? It's...
Read moreI used to work at Subway for 4 years I know what can and can't happen with a sandwich and any more I just don't go to Subway because if I ask for less sauce they say they're not allowed to do that if I ask for more veggies they say they're not allowed to do that if I asked to add bacon on to a pizza they say they're not allowed to do that when I know very well that they are they're just being lazy and or are improperly trained and it either leaves me with a soaked sandwich that's super soggy or a sandwich that has so many veggies that I can't even eat the sandwich I have to spend half my time picking off extra veggies when I didn't ask for extra and a lot of the employees just tend to be very rude anymore and they don't want to help the customer they seem to try and find any way they can to tell you no so that you just leave so they don't have to do the work and it's just made it so I don't want to eat at Subway anymore even though I really do enjoy their food when it's done properly the bad customer service and the constant being told no you can't do that when I was trained that you could and I know things change but they don't change that much so I guess I'm not going to be eating at...
Read moreGonna cut to the chase. I ordered delivery through the subway app, it was delivered on time but had the complete wrong order. Drove back and the lady was extremely raunchy and rude. At first she couldn’t find my order, but I luckily had my order confirmation and then she found it. At the same time, A door dash driver came back for the order I was given and had brought back because it wasn’t mine. I had opened the sandwich and I didn’t have gloves on, and so due to the pandemic as well as general germs, the door dash driver requested a new sandwich for their client. The worker wouldn’t give a new sandwich for the other customer she said it wasn’t her fault and so she wouldn’t do it. They got me a new sandwich, but they wouldn’t refund the delivery because “it wasn’t their problem”. I ordered delivery because I didn’t want to go to the store and because I had other things as a higher priority. To not refund or take responsibility of something done through your own app is ridiculous, hence the survey. The customer experience was awful, though at least the sandwich was still good. I will order through Jimmy John’s next time because they always get it right and are honestly...
