CLUTCH Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Indian Trail

We swung by Clutch Coffee Bar on Independence Boulevard this past Saturday evening, and it turned out to be the perfect little pick-me-up. The drive-thru experience was smooth, fast, and friendly—everything you hope for when you’re craving something cold and flavorful on a warm day.

We tried the Cloud 9 and Harvest Greens drinks, and both exceeded expectations. Cloud 9 was deliciously smooth and satisfying—perfect for iced coffee lovers—while Harvest Greens was vibrant, crisp, and refreshingly unique. It had just the right balance of sweetness and tang, making it an ideal non-caffeinated choice.

The location itself is modern and well-designed, with a bold green-and-black aesthetic that’s hard to miss. The menu offers an exciting range of options—from energy drinks and smoothies to signature lattes and refreshers—so there’s something for every kind of beverage enthusiast.

The coffee is good! Definitely worth a shot if you havnt visited. I’ll def come back. Good variety too!

There is no drive thru speaker to order through. You have to order at the window. On both occasions Iv gone Iv seen the cashier just have long convo with customer while they wait for coffee to come out. Very nice of them but keep the line moving lol. Maybe tell cars to park on side while they wait. On my last visit, I got frustrated and just drove off and went to Starbucks down the road.

They have speakers around the building and on both cases they play relatively loud pop / upbeat music. May just be my personal opinion but that’s the last thing I want to hear at 8/9 am in morning. Lol at that point I’m cranky and just want my coffee. It doesn’t make it better that I’m just staring at car in front of me have long convo with customer.

Hands down the best iced coffee I have ever had. Plus all the baristas are super sweet and friendly. I stopped by a month ago and now I go every morning. I drive 15 minutes in the opposite direction to my job but it’s worth it. The taste of the expresso is unreal! My new go-to is the #frozen #avalanche with an extra shot of #expresso. It gives me the #energy I need to get thru the day and with no crash out later on. They even commented on a tik tok video I made about them. I thought it was super sweet to take the time to acknowledge it. You can earn free coffee too! My daughter loves the cake pops!
