Went there recently. We were a party of 5 and we stood at the door awkwardly until someone finally came and seated us. During our first order of drinks the waitress literally forgot and ignored me even tho I was right in front of her! I had to pipe up to get my drink order in. That made everyone uncomfortable and especially embarrassed me. We eventually ordered food and man, the food took FOREVER to get here, despite the restaurant literally having like 5 other tables, it was like EMPTY at 11am. The food was cold and the taste was mediocre (compared to all the other cafes I've been to all around Goshen). We didn't see our waitress for a very long time and weren't looked after the food got here. I figured it was a family restaurant since there were what looked like family members, owners sitting at a table right behind us and talking. To get served, we had to ask them if they worked here, and that was embarrassing to make someone's elder that wasn't our waitress to get something for us, we felt bad. But our waitress wasn't ANYWHERE. And again, the restaurant was almost empty! If the servers weren't so inattentive the place could've been at least 3...
Read moreWe’ve been to this place several times and we were quite satisfied with our experience. But today was different. We came in to an almost empty restaurant, around 10am. Prior to being seated, we asked the hostess/cashier if we could use our breakfast discount coupon, the expiration date of which was today, September 7. She told us she’d ask her boss first. Then after a minute or so, she seated us, thus, we assumed that we could use our coupon. As we were looking at the menu, however, she came back to tell us that we couldn’t use the coupon as it was a holiday. Nowhere in the coupon was it stated that it wasn’t valid on holidays. Besides, with just one other diner in the restaurant, wouldn’t it have been great customer service to just make an exception and honor the coupon? So we stood up and left, and they lost at least $20 in business. Not planning on coming back...
Read moreThere was no one to greet is when we came in so we found a booth and sat down. That wasn't a problem as much as the fact that we sat there for over ten minutes waiting for someone to bring a menu. No one did. There was only one other customer in the restaurant. He was just sitting at a booth and looked like he was simply passing the time, but while we were there no one came to check on him either. We decided we had waited long enough without being acknowledged, got up and headed for the door, and only then did someone come out from the back asking if they could help us! This was late Saturday afternoon and there are other places to eat in Goshen. Maybe this was an isolated bad day for them, but I have no intention of going back...
