This place is a hidden gem! My family and I recently dined here and the food and the service was beyond our expectations. The service was great and very prompt. The food was made fresh and had a lot of flavor. We ordered Indo-Chinese appetizers, curry with paneer, fried rice, and butter garlic naan. Everything was excellent and the size of the naan was huge. They were very soft and served hot. The flavor in all the dishes was great. Traditionally, food at Indian restaurants is very mediocre and bland in taste. Flavors here were well balanced. And best of all, the price was very reasonable per entree. Most places charge upwards to $20 per curry entree, and provide very small quantities. Here it was around $12-$14, with good quantity. The only draw back was that this restaurant is located next to a smoke shop, and with the restaurants main door open with barely any AC working, smoke traveled inside the restaurant and it was very annoying to be in that atmosphere, especially with little kids. But the restaurant server was kind enough to keep the door closed and tried to adjust the AC unit to provide some air in an otherwise stuffy atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place. We sure will be...
Read moreI was just visiting family in the area and I decided I needed Indian Food. I stopped by this place because of the good ratings. I got it togo. When I sat down 10 minutes later to eat it, I discovered they had taped the container to try and mitigate the spillage from the container into the bag. It didn't help completly, but a little. I was happy for the effort. The food was still quite warm, and as I soon discovered there was too much food. My eyes always opts for more than my stomach can handle. The chicken masala was delicious (5 stars) and the chili chicken was OK 3.5 stars). The naan (5 stars) was quite large. There were 2 pieces, but it would have equalled 3 pieces in any other Indian restaurant. It was quite good. I'll have to opt for the garlic naan next time ($.50 more).
All in all, for about $8 bucks, I am quite happy and will give it the highest vote of confidence of all - I'll go back and spend more of...
Read morePleasantly surprised with this spot as trying new Indian restaurants has most of the time been a complete miss for me. This one was definetly a hit.
The samosas were great crispy and huge and the mint chutney was perfect.
Also had the chicken 65 which is natutrally a spicy dish...it was a bit too salty but we still managed to finish it alll (it was still pretty legit even with the oversalting).
The lamb masala was on point as well as was the tandoori chicken (which is not super red cuz it seems like they don't use food coloring which is another plus).
The only dish I wasn't impressed with was the chicken tikka masala... the sauce was way too sweet.... next time I will try the butter chicken.
Overall, this is a great spot and reasonably priced.... hope to come back and repeat my good experience.
Also have to say the service was great and very accomodating to our requests...
