Incredible! There's no better word to describe our experience. Let's start with the service. We were served by Brianna, the owner's wife. Such a fun personality, and a very skilled server! Everything came out on time and done correctly. She was there to check up on us regularly, and she was also a fantastic conversationalist. Her and my wife hit it off discussing the decor of the restaurant and live plants, among other things. She really was the best!
Now for the good part: the food. It's so rare, especially in Florida, for both my wife and I to be impressed with literally every single item brought to the table. That's exactly what happened tonight, however.
We started with the Korean style wagyu short ribs, which were absolutely fantastic. For the main course, we shared the 16oz Mishima Reserve Picanha and I almost died when I took the first bite. The toasted fat on the ends of each slice were perfection, and the meat itself just fell apart in your mouth. So damn good! Our sides were the sauteed wild mushrooms and the brussels sprouts, both were expertly prepared with a phenomenal balance of sweet and savory. My seven year old ordered from the kids menu and she got what has to be the fanciest kids menu I've ever seen in my life. Top shelf steak and truffle fries I would pay $30 for as an adult meal but it was only $12! Such a great combo too because it's very simple for the picky kid in your life, but you'll never find something this quality for your kid at any normal restaurant.
Then as a cherry on top, Brianna brought out these piping hot stuffed chocolate churro bites with ice cream and holy cow, they were SO GOOD! All three of us (my picky seven year old included) were so happy with the food and the overall experience.
I can't recommend this place more. It has all three of my key boxes checked: 1) Outstanding product, 2) Small local business, 3) The wonderful type of people you feel great supporting as a customer. I can't wait to come back!

This place is located in a strip center and if you blink you will pass it right on by. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but in the inside is a total different story.
The team travels from Miami most days and the effort and attention that goes into each and every detail is extraordinary! Every single item is made in house and they pride themselves on keeping the Brazilian Spirt alive and well.
Order the Pork Belly appetizer & the Brussels Sprouts!!! The pork belly has a slightly sweet Asian Sauce and the pork cracklings literally melt in your mouth 👄 It seems they roast it then deep fry or pan fry at the end leading me to an instant “Food-Gasm” yes I said it!
The world literally stopped for a moment………all my troubles melted away and I was in the middle of this explosion of flavors. The umami from this dish is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much chef & team……..you got me good 😊
The Brussels are heavenly! Every single leaf is perfectly fried to almost burnt, yet they hold back just before that could happen and boom……….💥 it’s stunning!!! I love the crispness off this dish and a win for any Brussels Sprout lover.
The Brazilian Rice was perfectly salty as they do with tons of garlic flavor. I am telling you, get over here and try this food, you won’t regret it ;)

If you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience in Islamorada, Off The Hook Restaurant should be at the top of your list. My visit there was nothing short of amazing.
The food is absolutely stellar. We tried the churrasco steak, the wagyu steak, the Brussels sprouts, fried cheese with guava sauce, and truffle fries. Every dish was a delight, bursting with fresh flavors and expertly prepared. The menu offers a great variety, ensuring that there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Our server, Gabby, made our evening even more special. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Her recommendations were spot on, and she really added a personal touch to our meal.
The atmosphere at Off The Hook is cozy and welcoming, though I would give it four stars. It’s a charming spot with a relaxed vibe, perfect for a casual night out. The only reason it didn’t earn a fifth star is that it can get a bit noisy when the restaurant is full. However, this minor point didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment.
