THEY SERVED US CHEMICAL WATER. Last time I will be eating at Royal Buffet in new port Richey.
My cousin and I went for Lunch, we come here all the time. Everything was fine, until the waitress gave us our refills on water.
(We BELIEVE that she grabbed the Santi-pitcher that’s used to clean the tables because the pitcher has no ice, looked room temp, and it reeked of chemicals as she poured it into our cups)
I thought maybe it was her towel to clean the table, since our table was right next to her small waitress station set up/ untill Courtney took a drink and instantly start choking and her throat on fire. She asks the waitress “is this clean water. This is burning my throat, it taste like chemicals” BEFORE I even said anything about the smell.
My cousin was choking, and coughing, and kept asking if the pitcher was clean…. The waitress instantly grabbed the pitcher and ran into the back of the kitchen came out after 2-3 minutes..
At this point My cousins eyes are watering, throat burning, and coughing to the point she couldn’t catch her breathe from the drink of “water”
The waitress came back out with a DIFFERENT pitcher, full of ice AND COLD, and insisting that the water is ok.
I had my cup, and she poured us a new cup You can SMELL the difference. This one did not have any smell- LIKE NORMAL WATER….
The waitress came out with the young girl, THAT LOOKED ABOUT 12 - and said “this is the manager” and then a Man came out from the back of the kitchen, getting loud and raising is arms, to the point the little girl had to pull back on his arm. 
I kept asking for my orginal cup back full of the chemical water and they REFUSED TO GIVE IT BACK TO US because we were proving our point, and they REFUSED to take a drink for themselves..
They insisted that the water was clean, but as we kept asking for them to take a drink out of that room temp pitcher.. th waitress, “manager” and Man kept refused to go get that orginal pitcher of water that she brought back….
And then assumed we were going to pay for our food .. we weren’t even done with our meal and this happened.
The Man kept telling us “good for you” and that he’ll call “911 to help” .. we were not yelling, being rude or cursing, being disrespectful, or anything along the lines for him to get loud and assertive like he did…
I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN

Read moreEarlier this week my husband and I went to a local chinese buffet locate at Embassy mall across from Gulfview mall. We had not been there since having a bad experience back in October of 2017. So many restaurants close at 7:00 because of summer hours so we decided to give it another try. It had just turned 8PM and store hours posted were until 10:30. We were surprised to see only 4 tables occupied when we entered. We sat down and our drinks were brought immediately. When we made our first trip to the buffet lines we were dismayed to see the condition. So many bins were either empty, had very few items left or looked as if they had been sitting for some time. I was aware that we had ALWAYS had to wait for crablegs but never all the other entrees. I called the manager over and he said since it was late they only cooked items as you asked for them and it shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes. Now bare in mind we are talking about a buffet not menu items. The couple sitting across from us told me there had been no crab legs when they arrived half an hour earlier and the woman finally had to walk into the kitchen to get their attention. The crablegs were brought out in one small serving bowl that did not accomodate the three tables waiting for them and the wait for a refill began again. Timed by my watch, they were bringing out one small serving every 30-40 minutes so naturally first person waiting grabbed the majority knowing it was going to take forever for a refill. I had 3 items cooked personally for me. When I complained about the scummy looking egg drop soup container they took the soup away and then brought exact same amount back in a different container.
