Hardee’s — Restaurant in Jonesborough

Went inside today for breakfast only to find out they were severely understaffed for a weekend. There was two people up front and two in the back is all I saw. The manager in the kitchen came up front when she got clear to help get orders and this man started yelling and cussing at her because of how understaffed they were. He wanted to know who the manager was and she said she was at the time but not over the store. I was ashamed. I felt so bad for her. She told him she apologized but there was nothing she could do. She could take his order or move on to the next customer. She got the four of us cleared out and went back to the kitchen and he continued yelling over me trying to order. She was doing it all. Very disappointing. The tray I was eating off looked like it had grease on it. Black grease, like automotive! Restaurant overall wasn't clean. Plenty of staff but lack of attention to detail. Bacon was rubbery, lemon for tea didn't look at all fresh. Burger was tasty and tea was good, but I was so grossed out that it was hard to enjoy.

UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE FROM OWNER: The link the restaurant sent below was for me to fill out this exact same information in their online form that isn't exactly user-friendly, after I've already taken my time to post the review here. Had a coupon for an Original 1/3 lb Angus burger. Worst Burger I have every eaten. Burnt burger, dry as the desrt sand, so much mayo, mustard and ketchup that it dripped like water and was impossible to keep in the bun. Fries were disgusting, cold and limp. Growing up in Rocky Mount, NC the original Home of Hardees, I grew up eating Hardees hamburgers and since we had no other fast food restaurant it was I was proud to work there as a teenager.
