The Den — Restaurant in Kendall Township

We went last night March 8, 2025, and the food was okay, they had good drinks. Ordered a second round to enjoy with our dinner...NEVER EVER got them. After the serving us, and there were only two of us and we are not demanding at all. She came when my napkins were on my partially eaten meal and the nachos and she asked if we wanted boxes. I was so livid because she never checked on us although she had four tables around us, nev÷ brought the second drinks and never looked our way. I suggested that she make no haste because I was ready to leave and dash.

I went back in and asked how much they were planning to charge because it truly was the worst service we have had in so long and I know that supporting places like that is important and I said that but there are so many other places to go. I will never go back, never take my mom, go alone or recommend to a friend.

EDIT I’m bringing my food rating down because my husband and I have both felt sick all day since we ate the burgers. Both of us nauseous and burping up burger. 🤢

Great location and atmosphere. We were here on st. Patrick’s Day weekend so we understood it was super busy and probably understaffed. However, after waiting on the patio for an hour and our server not acknowledging us, even though we tried to wave her over multiple times, we went to the bar to order food and they were just weirdly rude without a reason. We weren’t trying to snub the waitress, we just wanted to put a food order in because our two babies were getting restless. That said, the beer on draft was pretty watered down but the food itself was alright. And it came out decently fast after we ordered! I wouldn’t get the fries again. We tried this restaurant for the first time today, after we where greeted and seated we put in our drink orders, waitress came back with our drinks and asked if we wanted to order. But we where never given menus. Our appetizer was quick and delicious. However the burger we where given wasn't the one we ordered, I let her know she had it re made and said she would comp it off the bill. She comes back with the right burger and it was raw in the middle, not rare but genuinely raw (it was ordered medium rare for reference.) by the time the burger came back a second time, we had to leave and take it to go because it took so long to get the burger made everyone eles had finished eating.the real kicker, the receipt i was given wasn't itemized and the burger wasn't comped. It may have been discounted but definitely not comped. Needless to say we won't...
