Have to agree with all the reviews...
Let's start with the online ordering experience...what a mess! How can you feature new ripple fries on the homepage and have them completely missing from the online menu? The calories from the site's menu and the ordering part of the site was just wrong. Example: Harvest Bowl onsite: 765 calories but in store and through the ordering portal = 740. Chicken was also out of stock...unsure how a main protein is unavailable but this was also incredibly disappointing.
Considering all this, I still decided to go into the store. The line was far too long in wait time, considering it was just 10 people in front of me. The (one) employee working the line was visibly annoyed and unhappy. But can I blame him if he's the only one on the line? And he was the cashier too!
To my (added) shock, more ingredients were out of stock in the store, that weren't reflected on the site's ordering portal. Why can't there be a sign of things that are out so that each customer can decide if they still want their item despite the ingredients that are unavailable. Just a huge waste of people's time. Do better.
How long could I possibly wait to get my order from waiting in line, ordering and getting my food? In line at 7:29, out of the store by 8:06. What a joke!
And before another manager responds to get in contact, please review my updated review below.
I had a poor experience, which I wrote about on 3/31. The business manager left a comment on my public review (on Yelp), asking me to email them directly. Assuming the team would be briefed on why I would be emailing, I sent them a note. To my surprise they had no idea what I was emailing about, and asked me to retell the whole tale. Despite me attaching a screenshot of my review with all the details they would need, I received follow up emails, requesting answers to questions that were covered in my review. What's the point of reaching out to a customer and what I assumed would be to make it right, only to leave them more disappointed? It's now 4/10 and I've been left on...
Read moreYou know those hideous five story apartment blocks popping up all over the country owned by shady real estate developers such as Blackrock where the entire neighborhood gives a “corporate feel” and they intend on making sure you spend all your money within that one little area; squeezing every drop of wealth out of the residents they can? Under every one of those apartment blocks you find restaurants such as Sweetgreen. A faux “health food” chain where they charge $20 for a messily assembled bowl of slop but hey everything is “organic” and “sustainable” which they insist they can charge so much for so little. This place has always reeked to me of greed and I’m happy to see the company is collapsing, especially if you even glance at the search results when you type “Sweetgeen CEO.” Not only are you throwing your money away on subpar and overpriced food, you’re supporting one of those companies where they wouldn’t blink an eye at firing their entire workforce to replace them with AI so long as they can maximize profits before cannibalizing the sinking ship that is this company. Stop falling for this. Support local businesses. And I don’t want to hear “oh it’s inconvenient to eat healthy when you’re in a hurry these days.” After one bowl I was forced to eat through I had all my suspicions confirmed. Whenever someone brought me Sweetgreen it was a haphazardly assembled half-empty container of (what I hesitate to call it “food”) I couldn’t finish. Don’t eat here. Again, support your local businesses so we can clear these soulless chains out...
Read moreI usually get food from sweetgreen and its good. I like the flavor and consistency + freshness. But today I just got mad two things: Your feedback QR code that you have in store does not work. It says its not active. Either activate it or remove it I came and they are doing a bunch of catering. In coincidence they were doing like 20 plates of Miso Glace. And guess what I was getting? a Miso Glace... I order and they said ohh but guess what we are going to be out of salmon (While they were serving in plates). So they said they don't have anymore left and they are not even sure if they will be able to complete their bunch of catering plates. I know and understand that catering might be as important as your clients showing at the store. But come on, I'm right there looking at how you are serving a bunch of plates and you are not able to save one for your customer at the store while you wait for more salmon to be ready to actually complete your catering! I'm not sure if they did not thought about that in the moment, but just felt rude and disapointing. If you are doing catering you should plan ahead of time to not left your other orders at store fall behind. Usually you have most of the employees working on catering and app orders and it might take a while to get someone to do your order while in store.
I'm glad that you guys are doing well as a business but plan ahead, if you are getting a bunch of app and catering orders it might be a good time to move all that into another place rather than the...
