LAX Grille – Where Thai Food Takes Flight in La Crosse! If you’re looking for a first-class food experience in La Crosse, LAX Grille is your ticket to deliciousness! This isn’t your average layover spot—this is a non-stop flight to flavor town with some of the best Thai food in the area. The Crew: Fast, Funny & Fabulous First things first—let’s talk about the staff. These folks are the real MVPs, especially Chase Allen! Fast, funny, and fabulous, they make you feel like a VIP the moment you walk in. Leading the charge is Charles, the Team Leader extraordinaire, who took such good care of me and my friend that we briefly considered adding him to our will. The Pho That Stole My Heart Now, let’s talk about the food. The pho? Absolute perfection. The broth was so warm and rich that I swear it gave me emotional support. It’s the kind of soup that wraps you up like a cozy blanket on a cold Wisconsin night, and with generous amounts of meat and fresh herbs, it’s a meal fit for a king—or at least someone who appreciates really, really good Thai food. Also, the portion size? Easily enough for two. But let’s be real—I wasn’t sharing. A Full-Service Bar & Space for a Party? Sign Me Up! If you like your spicy curry with a side of cocktails, you’re in luck! The drinks here are fantastic—expertly mixed, refreshing, and the perfect way to wash down those bold Thai flavors. Whether you’re craving a classic cocktail or something a little more adventurous, they’ve got your back. Need space for a big gathering? No problem! LAX Grille has a private event room that can host up to 30 people—perfect for celebrations, team outings, or just gathering with friends who all happen to love Thai food as much as you do. Bright, Spacious & Welcoming The dining room is bright and airy, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal without feeling packed in like a bag of airline peanuts. Whether you’re dining solo, on a date, or with a big group, the atmosphere is just the right mix of casual and cool. Bonus points? They’ve got gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options, so everyone can find something delicious to enjoy. Final Boarding Call: Get to LAX Grille ASAP! La Crosse has a lot of great food spots, but LAX Grille is a true standout. With incredible Thai flavors, top-notch service, and an inviting space that makes every visit feel special, this place deserves all the praise. Whether you’re in for a quick meal or making an evening out of it, you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. Five stars, a chef’s kiss, and a standing ovation from me! ✈️🍜🔥 #JustLikeHome #Seattle

The food was not the problem.***** We were so excited to finally get the chance to try LAX Grille. We decided to check it out in celebration of my recent birthday. As soon as we walked in I noticed the lack of accessible seating for anyone who is disabled and who is of a bigger size. We ended up finding a tabletop with a sofa that seemed comfortable and accommodating, but as soon as my partner sat next to me, the sofa broke. The waitress said nothing and we decided maybe it had already been weakened by others, so we moved over to the next sofa and tabletop. As soon as we received our appetizers the second sofa broke as well and again, the waitress said nothing. She did not apologize or offer another table, so we continued to sit on the broken furniture. The food was otherwise amazing. My partner ordered the pho which the broth was filled with so much flavor. I had the red curry, but I definitely could have had it with more spice, less bamboo shoots, and more vegetable variety? Maybe one small disappointment was that there were no tapioca pearls for the bobas. And the place was rather beautifully set up. Very open. Very green including growing their own herbs in the window. We loved that. This place is just not as accessible as it could and should be. And it’s unfortunate because everything else was amazing.

Tried this place three times before writing this review. My first visit I had the pork rib pad kra pow. I was told it came with choice of egg roll or rice or rangoon, I ordered it with egg roll, and egg rolls came out and then the ribs came out with the rice. Man who introduced himself as Charles brought out the rice side and when I tried to say that I thought it would come with egg roll, Charles justified that rice goes well with the dish. Fine whatever, I paid for apparently an appetizer order of egg rolls and ate the rice side. Figured it was a mix up when order got taken, did not love the assertiveness from Charles though. Second visit I ordered the special pho, which was good, but did not have any limes nor jalapeños. Charles checked on me and when I told him that I was surprised at lack of jalapeños and limes, Charles explained that jalapeños are not always served with this dish, and justified by saying that they are a new restaurant and stocking an item that may or may not get used is hard for brand new family owned business. Third visit, I got the wagyu burger, which was well seared and slightly pink in the middle, but was much smaller in size than expected.

We visited a few weeks ago and we're amazed by the food. 5 stars all the way. Rangoons and Egg rolls were out of this world. The Green Curry medium, had a very nice spice and amazing flavors. The Ramen was an great experience as well. Packed with flavor and noodles, it was definitely one of the best I've ever had. Top it off with with Pad Thai that was out of this world and Thai fried rice, it made for an epic meal.

Yesterday's visit was as warm and inviting as well. The bartender was very friendly and informative. I ordered the extra wagyu with the Raman and was not disappointed. Just like last time, it was off the charts. The egg rolls were amazing again as well. The Rangoons, however, we're a different story. While cooked well and puffy, they had very little of the delicious filling. Unfortunately, The Pad Thai was ordered and confirmed mild. When it came, it was spicier than my medium green curry from the previous visit. It was the first time we've ever sent anything back. The server was apologetic, and removed from our bill. I'm sure it was coincidence, due to business in the back, but after that it was 20+ minutes to be checked back on to ask for a bill. It did seem busy in the restaurant area, but our being seated, Drink order, food order, and served apps, then food, took approximately the same time. There were very few customers in the bar seating area. We actually didn't get our drink order until after the appetizers, but things happen. Next time we're looking forward to make reservations for the restaurant area. I would...

I never typically write reviews for the places I eat but I came here for the first time with my partner yesterday after trying to since they opened but never being able due to real life getting in the way. That being said, the food here is probably some of the best I've ever had in my life, and I don't say this lightly, I've never been one who's super picky with what I eat but this doesn't mean I'm unable to recognize when something is special.

Firstly, the entire establishment is incredibly clean, there were no moments where I was worried about cleanliness whatsoever.

Secondly, the service is amazing, everyone there was so accommodating and, while walking in, I saw the owner handing out complimentary crab rangoons to patrons which my partner and I later received ourselves after having ordered.

Finally, and most importantly, the food. The food here is actually amazing, there are few other places in Wisconsin where you'd find this quality of Asian food that's actually authentic and not so heavily Americanized, and I say that with complete confidence. I got the Boat Noodle (Pho) and my partner got Pad Thai, with both of us getting different types of boba for our drinks. Both were amazing and I'll definitely be back for more.

In conclusion, if you want a place to try something new, go on a date, or just to get a bite to eat, this place is definitely something I recommend anyone in the LaCrosse area and...
