Went to this restaurant for my birthday back in September. My husband and I absolutely loved it. You can taste the care and love that goes into these dishes. My husband ordered the Spinach Artichoke dip as an appetizer. I normally don’t care for this dish but I loved it. My husband remarked it’s the best he’s ever had which is not a compliment he pays often. For my entree, I ordered the Bolognese. I have had it several times before at different restaurants But this one was unique in the best way possible. It is authentic to what bolognese is supposed to be. I can’t remember exactly what my husband ordered but again, very high marks. To put cherry on top, Our waitress was incredibly kind and thoughtful to our needs and the menu is affordable . Overall, we would recommend this restaurant to everyone and we hope to dine...

This location is pretty notorious for being a restaurant killer. I walked in and honestly my first impression was poor. I was hoping with the "Diner" in the title they would have breakfast or brunch options.
After reviewing the menu and pricing, I was hesitant. Menu items all looked fine? But it didn't exactly match my expectations of the name and pricing was generally high (admittedly everything is expensive now.)
I saw that the burger was only $6.75 which is a pretty great deal! So I ended up getting the fried onion burger - they offered a pound (!?) of fries as a side. That seemed like way too much so I just went with the burger.
Honestly one of the best burgers I've had in a long time and at $6.75!? Definitely...
Read moreStumbled across this new downtown restaurant online and since we love to support small, local businesses, we decided to go and try it. We started by sharing onion rings, followed by the beef tips with pappardelle and an iced tea for my husband and I chose the fried chicken. Onion rings were tasty. The beef was good however very oddly (and off puttingly) sweet so not something he really enjoyed. The fried chicken was hot and fresh yet desperately needed salt. The potatoes and green beans were left behind as I just didn’t like their flavor.
There is no atmosphere - it’s tables and chairs in a room.
Highlight was the excellent service! Wait staff was exceptional!!
Will we go again? It’s a no - when we spend $80 (pre tip) for a meal, we hope to leave planning the next time...
