EDIT: I'm sorry, I'm changing my 5/5 to 1/5 because I'm extremely disappointed that it's not Aki Ramen anymore and instead Umi or whatever it was. Our regular server, before Aki closed, said they would be back open in July. I came by at least ever other week. The entire place was gutted and the menu completely changed. I miss the Asian culture decorations that were hanging everywhere. Now it's just modern and boring. I did give Umi a try, but there was no chicken ramen, and as someone who can't have certain things, I couldn't even eat ramen. The California rolls were bland and super small. I'd rather go to Publix and get more for cheaper. I love and miss Aki Ramen. It would've been better if they kept the ramen that they already had and added all that sushi stuff. Extremely disappointed. The photos below were from Aki Ramen, not Umi.

They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, with a spacious and comfortable patio area. The service was friendly and professional.
Since it was our first time, we asked for a few recommendations. Our server (whose name I can’t quite remember) was super informative and brought our order out promptly.
The menu has a nice variety of options, and while prices are a bit on the higher side, it’s perfect for a date night or a cozy, trendy dinner. The vibe is modern, cute, and relaxed, with light pop music playing that’s not too loud either. (ideal for conversation)
Portions are generous, and everything we tried was flavorful, especially the chicken ramen and the spicy garlic edamame. It’s definitely a good spot to share dishes if you want to explore more of the menu.
A couple of minor notes: I wish they offered a dairy-free milk option for the boba milk tea, and the “spicy” ramen could use a bit more kick.
Overall, it’s definitely is worth a visit, and I’m excited to come back...
Read moreIt was alright overall. The gyozas didn’t have much flavor, and the sauce that came with them was pretty bland too. The chicken ramen also lacked seasoning. It needed salt (which I added), and the grilled chicken in it could’ve used some more flavor. The miso ramen was a bit salty, but still tasted good. The egg was definitely the highlight—super tasty and well done.
Service was quick, and the vibe of the place was chill and comfortable. The only downside there was that the table felt kind of sticky.
I probably wouldn’t come back, just because I like ramen that’s really rich and packed with flavor. But if you’re into a milder, more budget-friendly bowl of ramen, this spot might be worth...
