I saw this taco truck the other day when I was driving east on 94 and it kind of peaked my interest. I stumbled back upon it today when I took a detour which had me drive right past the truck. I figured at that point I might as well try it out.
I ordered pastor, carne asada, and cabeza tacos. They were out of lengua otherwise I would have tried that as well! I also ordered a chicken tamale and a pineapple jarritos. All the tacos were packed with flavors but the pastor was by far my favorite out of the three. I believe they slow cooked the meat which would make sense why it was so juicy and tender. Each bite was incredible. If you want to add even more flavor to the tacos, their green sauce isn't too spicy and adds a subtle kick to each bite. I really enjoyed the green sauce since it accompanied the tacos well. The tortillas were also tasted fresh and were toasted on the grill top which is what I prefer.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the chicken tamale. It was lukewarm, a bit dry, lacking seasoning on the chicken, and it kind of looked like canned chicken was used for the filling. I wouldn't order this again. However, I would highly recommend trying out their tacos! I didn't see prices on the menu but from my total, I figured the tacos were about 3.50 each and the tamales too. They also had some tables/seating outside if you wanted to sit...

Listen up, fellow taco hunters and flavor fanatics: if you think you’ve had good quesa birria before, you’re wrong — unless you’ve had it from this glorious hunk of metal on wheels.
This food truck isn’t just serving tacos; it’s serving up life-changing experiences wrapped in perfectly griddled tortillas. The quesa birria is so juicy and cheesy it might just make you question every other taco you’ve ever eaten.
As for the carne asada tacos? Let’s just say the steak is so tender and flavorful it might ruin all other tacos for you forever. This is not bland “Taco Tuesday” nonsense — this is a full-blown mouth fiesta that will slap your taste buds awake and make you wonder why you ever settled for chain drive-thru tacos.
Are the prices cheap? Nope — but they’re exactly what you’d expect from a legit taco stand slinging top-quality meats and fresh tortillas. You’re paying for real-deal flavor, not sad dollar-menu mystery meat.
Our only gripe? The hours are a bit limited — which means you can’t always have these glorious tacos exactly when you crave them most. If they were open 24/7, we’d probably move in next door.
We came for lunch and left needing a nap, a hug, and another round of tacos for later.
Run, don’t walk. Your taste buds will thank you. Your diet will not....
Read moreIf you haven’t eaten at Tacos La Morelense, what are you even doing with your life? I’ve had food from Michelin-starred restaurants that didn’t make me feel the things these tacos did. I took one bite of the carne asada and saw my ancestors doing a slow clap in the clouds. The birria taco dipped in consomé? That’s not food — that’s a spiritual awakening. I’m pretty sure my credit score jumped 40 points mid-meal.
The salsa slapped harder than the Will Smith Oscars incident, and the horchata was so smooth it could’ve hosted the Golden Globes without a script. I caught my reflection in the napkin dispenser and didn’t recognize myself — that’s how transformative this food is.
And don’t even get me started on the vibes. It’s like if your abuela threw a block party with Gordon Ramsay and Bad Bunny on the grill. I would walk barefoot through a LEGO convention just to get another bite.
Do yourself a favor — skip therapy this week and go eat here instead. These tacos healed trauma I didn’t...
