Great service, flavors and quality. My kids and I are in town visiting family. My husband who is military and was unable to join us on the spring break trip head called to let us know this morning that our oldest furry family member passed away suddenly. It is my children's first experience losing a pet and being far away definitely made processing that much harder. We opted to go out to eat tonight in lieu of cooking. My brother-in-law suggested Ram because he had brought my husband to the restaurant earlier this year when my husband was helping them with their own military move. Both of the guys swear by the macaroni and cheese :) The price was very reasonable for three older kids and three adults eating, especially considering we purchased appetizers, drinks and dessert too. I definitely think we would have spent more for a lower quality of meal had we gone to one of the more national chain restaurants like Olive garden or Applebees. Towards the end of the meal my kids started getting upset again remembering their lost friend. They were teary and emotional by that point, but even at the beginning they were out of sorts - my middle son was actually quite rude and snappy when ordering which is wildly out of character. They aren't normally like this. As moms we often feel like everyone's watching how they behave- the spotlight of judgement whenever we are in public. It's a lot of pressure, but even more so when your kids are going through something significant. But our waiter was fantastic. He was consistently upbeat and kind. He managed to pull-off the art of being incredibly accommodating without being intrusive at all. It definitely made the evening better. In short, our trip to Ram was the best possible outing we could have had considering the circumstances. Thank you for the hospitality and great food. I feel like we got to make good memories with our family on this vacation and I'm very grateful for that.

Service was pretty terrible and the food was mediocre. We waited a very long time for someone to come to our table to take our drink order when we were seated. After nobody came to check on us, we had to get up and find someone to ask our server to help. It looks like, from the most recent review, that this isn't a one time experience. Only we didn't get a free appetizer because of it. The orders were taken quickly enough (they were out of root beer for root beer floats and have been for a few days, they said) and drinks were delivered. No water was given - only the drinks we ordered. When the kids were out of lemonade, the server asked if we wanted refills - I said yes but then asked if they were free as she was walking away and she said no. I thought that was kinda sketchy. Understandable that they weren't free but it'd be nice to know ahead of time. There weren't a lot of pickle chips in the appetizers. They were good, though. And the mozzarella sticks were good as well. I got the kraken platter and it was, eh. Waaaaaay too much breading. The shrimp were decent but I finally just cracked open the fish to get what little there was inside since the breading was overpowering. We had to ask for ketchup. They also didn't bring the sauce or coleslaw with my food until I asked for it. No malt vinegar, either and they didn't ask if we needed any. It wasn't overly busy so I can't say that it's because of that. Just a very underwhelming, disappointing experience all around for us. I'm sure the corporate/company response will be 'oh, that's too sad, please leave feedback on our main page' but, again, based on the other review, it looks like nothing has changed.

Ram Restaurant & Brewery have been around since. 1971, and that is worthy of a pat on the back and definitely 'not' hard criticism from anyone, and that goes for me as well. Now, I've read read the positive and the negative, but I didn't see one comment about ' how can I help this business become a greater part of my town again?' This business is employee owned, and most companies like this are more willing to hear what you have to say in a constructive manner, rather than being thrown onto the carpet for something that could have been taken care of in a proper way '. For my wife and I, our experience was great. Customer service was incredible, and the food was great with a couple of very small issues! We ordered two(2) appetizers, soft pretzel breads with a beer cheese ( butthead to be exact, and deep-fried pickle chips with a spicy dipping sauce). Our main was a twelve inch signature pizza called the "1971", named for the year they opened their doors. Only three(3) small issues with everything and the manager were more than willing to hear them. Pretzels got cold and became difficult to chew, Pickle chips were a bit oily and had lost their taste, and the pizza round was a little too thin for a heavily topped pizza. Manager Amanda listened to what we had to say and let us know it would be looked into. I do have to give a big shout out to our server 'Hank', extremely polite and professional, and definitely appreciated!. Overall experience 8/10.

Trying to find a place eat I saw there was a RAM brewery nearby, I haven't been to one in years but I remembered they were pretty good .. this one was NOT. Host sat is, 15 min later I went and found someone to at least take out drink order. They apologized and gave us a free appetizer. We ordered 2 appetizers for the table, they arrived and were tasty, but there were five of us sharing at a large table, since we didn't get any plates we had to pass them around, I would have asked for plates but we didn't see our wait staff until the main course. We had beers with our meals, my son ordered a domestic bottled beer that was warm, he drank it but beer is best enjoyed cold! He ordered a second but it was actually warmer than the first, the waiter took it back and didn't charge us for it. The waiter although not particularly attentive was very friendly and the only reason I gave 2 stars. Incidentally my burger wasn't to bad once I scraped off at least 2 tablespoons of mayo lol .. fries were good and the rest of our meals were good. All in all, very disappointed.

The pizza here is surprisingly good. Really, everything is. So is the beer! It's usually busy and the staff seems to work well as a team. Kayla is an amazing server if you're lucky enough to get her! One time someone named Ursula (who was wearing purple) checked in after someone named Ariel (who was wearing green) with different parties at different tables. The host and I enjoyed mutual amusement over that fun coincidence.
