14 Oct. 24 update: Still there, still family owned, still doing their best to make you feel at home and serve you a really good meal. I went there just before 5pm for their Reuben. They had the ingredients but had to slice the meat... they close at 6, they should be putting things up..I'm not going to make them bust all that out for just one sandwich, so I passed and got a panini. Just as good as last time. Don't forget, they have a lot of Italian pastries and other hard to find ingredients for such a small place. Earlier in our lifetimes: Ya know, for a small town deli with a young staff, they do really well. They offer a variety of items including traditional subs and sandwiches. They also sell hard to get pastas , pastries and even hand dipped ice cream. Don't just look at the menu, look along the shelves along the walls. There's bound to be something you need or want for your pantry. I think I even saw unfilled cannoli in six packs by the front counter. Had their Reuben tonight. Many times, this sandwhich is a disaster at other eateries. Either too much kraut, too much sauce, or just not proportioned right. Not here. It's spot on. Enjoyed every bite. Next time you're walking old downtown Lewisburg, stop in and enjoy a quick bite.

This place is phenomenal!!! As someone who is from the area originally but now lives in Houston, Texas and works in NYC, this was such a treat to visit! I have to say this deli is better than any in Houston and rivals my favorite ones in NYC. The Reuben sandwich was so delicious with perfectly sliced meat, rye bread and all the fixings. The pasta salad was divine, too! The owner was so friendly and made sure we were tended to and made us feel at home. Lewisburg Deli is a treasure to find in central PA. As good as any NY deli are affordable prices! I love their deli meat selection and fine foods that you can buy. Check them out! You won't be sorry.

Lewisburg Deli is the real deal! As a supporter of the Central Susquehanna Lacrosse Club and other local programs, they truly understand the meaning of family and community. Growing up in a family-owned butcher shop and deli myself, I can say this place hits home for me. Their homemade bread and top-quality food are just incredible—these folks know what they’re doing. The atmosphere is welcoming and full of warmth, reminding me of the community that shaped me into the coach and advisor I am today. We need to appreciate local gems like Lewisburg Deli that keep traditions alive and support the next generation. Love this place!

Review purely based on poor customer service like many others here. As a person of color I feel like I would not go into this store again as i was made to feel uncomfortable yet again. This was the second time I had just walked into the store. The first time I walked in the owner was mumbling and making faces at me and it made me extremely uncomfortable. Anyway, today looking for something I decided to walk into the store. The lady owner came out the back yelling at me and my mother that the store is closed and the floor was wet and if we couldn't see it. Then she quickly changed her tone to make it seem as if she was concerned for us falling after we told her that there was no sign stating either. I am an adult and I know the difference between yelling in anger and being concerned for me. As soon as we walked out she screamed at the other guy at the top of her voice (almost scary) by then I was so mad and uncomfortable that I didn't care to listen. Do not care if their food is good I would not go in here And will tell my other friends not to either. I expect a rude reply to this review...

Felt it necessary to leave this review, I've been living in lewisburg and occasionally ordering here for about 5 years. I love the food, seriously. However, tonight i took my girlfriend in for her first experience here. It was 6:36pm, they close at 7. I was asked what we wanted because the panini press was off etc etc. And I expressed I wanted cold subs. Then I was told she didn't have any ham sliced and no rolls and they close in "10 minutes". It was closer to 30 minutes. Shouldn't matter. Close your door if you can't serve food. We were laughed at when I said we will just leave. I won't be coming back here again, this left a bad taste in my mouth. Also I think it's relevant to say that I've been working food service for the past 15 years. I'm not insensitive, and I'm pretty understanding of the struggle. Really not acceptable as...
