Learn moreWent in to eat on a Thursday morning on a while wanting to try out new local Offerings. The initial wait to be sat average and the server was polite and quick on the drink refills. I had the razorback sandwich which was really tasty. My friend had the gluten free pancakes with eggs and chicken sausage. Herein lies the reason for the poor review. The eggs were room temperature at best and had no seasoning whatsoever. The chicken sausage had a pleasant snap to the casing and had a nice texture. The flavor was terrible, it tasted as if while seasoning the sausage the lid for the sage fell off and poured the entire bottle into the mix. The worst part of the meal were the gluten free pancakes. Upon receiving them they looked decent enough. I had noted that the pad of butter was sinking really low into the pancakes. Upon cutting them up it was found that they were overly gooey and barely cooked at all. We told the server and she deeply apologized and had them remade and offered us a mini biscuit with apple butter and honey butter for the excessive wait. We get the pancakes to go and put them in the fridge to enjoy later. When we opened up the pancakes to enjoy later we notice that there was no mini biscuit and even worse yet the gluten free pancakes were yet again still raw in the middle. They say that your first impression is your lasting impression and as far as this place goes I don’t recommend patronage if they consistently give out...
Read moreThis was our second visit to this location, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the experience we had the first time. We were hoping for a consistent meal, but the food quality and attention to detail left us disappointed.
My husband ordered the Bacon Avocado Bennie, and right away we noticed the avocado and lettuce didn’t look fresh—they had a darker, unappetizing color, as if they’d been sitting out too long. As for my dish, I went with the Pancake Feast. While the pancakes and the bacon were fine, I found a hair in my eggs, which was very off-putting. I brought it to the attention of a server, and they did bring me a replacement egg without much delay, which I appreciated. A manager also came to our table to make sure we were fine with our food.
Still, it left us questioning the kitchen standards. We weren’t offered any kind of discount or courtesy to acknowledge the issue. I’m not sure what the restaurant’s customer service policies are, but food served in that condition shouldn’t have been charged in full—or at the very least, a small gesture of goodwill would’ve gone a long way.
We’ve had a better experience here before, so this visit was disappointing. Hopefully, it was...
Read moreI wanna start out to say, I was truly looking forward to eating Brunch here… The atmosphere was amazing, we sat out on the patio, and our server was excellent… But I couldn’t Help but be disappointed in the food… I ordered eggs Benedict, and the hollandaise sauce had so much lemon it overpowered the entire dish and I could taste nothing else but lemon… My little girl made the mistake of ordering off of the child’s menu And received a tablespoon of eggs, one single small sausage And a tiny pancake… The portions were so small we couldn’t help but laugh. Honestly, the only enjoyable part of the whole brunch were the biscuits dipped in honey butter… I was super disappointed at everything else… My friend had a skillet with brisket in it and it was Not a good texture and lacking in flavor as well. Maybe we just caught Them on an off day? But either way, I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon. That was too much money to spend on food that...
