Apparently this place was suppose to have good burgers and are known for them. Earlier today we went as our last meal out of San Antonio & won’t be back.

Went to get drinks and omg there was a huge thick moldy spot on the side of the ice dispenser where the ice cubes flow through into your cup. I wanted a sweet tea but thought what if there is mold on the tea containers, I decided to get a freezer sealed drink instead. When the food came out I kept thinking what if my food was made around mold or in a moldy container, I just couldn’t even enjoy my food at that point. I kept questioning what else had mold in it.

I went to look for the grading number, and it said it was a 97, dated 10.14.23. I think they need another food check.

The atomosphere and food was completely ruined at that point, as I watched people eat I kept thinking you are possibly eating mold.

I know it’s a chance we take when going out to each but seeing it right in your face as you are about to eat is absolutely disgusting.

Wash your dispensers! Every night, after closing. I used to work in food and if I wouldn’t eat where I worked then I would tell others not to eat there, and or I wouldn’t work there either. Safety first. Mold is...

First time going since the new owner. The menu has changed (new menu in pictures). The chicken ranch sandwich would now cost $16 instead of $12. I have always gotten the Q burger. It still had great taste, but very little BBQ sauce. It now comes with so called brisket instead of bacon. The brisket I had was the sizw of a quarter and was all grisly, I couldn't chew it sadly. I gave it to our lottlw dog. The buns are good, but so greasy/buttery. The onion rings have changed and we haven't enjoyed them for quite some time, even when old owners were there. Not sure what changed, but the tastw changed. Taste was still good, just not the beer batter they originally used before 2021. They only have Pepsi products for fountain drinks. They had this bomb black cherry soda that had an amazing almost cream taste to it. It was so good, but no longer available there or anywhere in San Antonio that I've found. Workers were all very nice and greeted us upon walking in. Disappointed in the lack of choices on the menu and price increases. $10 to now $14 for a hamburger. All menu items come with pinto beans. We will still go back, but not as often. Burgers weren't the over the top yummy like they were...

Kind of hidden away in an office strip center and does not look like a restaurant from the outside. Once inside you see a very large seating area with a counter where you place your order. I expected more of a crowd for Friday at noon. The cashier told me they get a crowd Friday night as they host a car show in the parking lot.

Lots of large model planes hanging from the ceiling. A lot of airplane art on the walls.

I ordered the Old Fashioned Burger with cheddar cheese and an upgrade to sweet potato fries. I used my coupon from San Antonio restaurants Gold App to get $5 off the burger. The burger was hot and juicy and the use of leaf lettuce instead of tired old iceberg was nice. Still not sure about the big sourdough bun, but it held up to the burger and condiments.

Sweet potato fries are so crispy. They are almost like the fries at Bill Millers, more like planks.

Beans are cooked with bacon. I don't like beans, but the "juice" surround them was very flavorful.

Someone's review said the food was very greasy. I have to differ. A burger will have a little grease because a good burger CONTAINS FAT. If you opt for fat free burgers maybe you should eat at an...

Ordered to go on the website, it said would be ready in 30 min. Got to the restaurant 15 minutes early, food was already done and waiting. We ate in the parking lot, so food should still be hot and fresh. Old fashioned burger was dry and tasted overcooked. The chicken fried steak was oily with the breading falling apart and the meat itself was dry and tough. And there was a really off putting after taste, which I'm assuming was from the oil. The gravy had a gel like consistency, not creamy. The onion rings were soggy and cool already. Fries were ok. The brisket egg rolls that some people recommended were very hot in the inside but not crispy at all on the outside. The brisket was tough and the flavor is mid at best. We had ordered the peach cobbler but was told they were out, so we got apricot instead. It was probably the best thing of the meal. Large drink was supposed to be 32oz (says it on the receipt) and we were given 20 oz cups. The restaurant seemed really clean and a nice place to sit, but the food makes it not worth the visit. There is also a service charge for using your credit card per the website. (Pictured is the chicken fried steak and the apricot cobbler)

The restaurant is kind of difficult to find if you’re not familiar with the parking lot. It’s located in the corner kind of hidden by plants. We stopped by for lunch since we were on this side of town. We were the first customers inside but it was apparent there were several “to-go” orders being prepped. Took a bit to be serviced, but the gal acknowledged us and was friendly. We ordered the double burger with bacon. My son chose that. He also wanted the onion rings ($3.50 upcharge) and I was told that was a combo so it came with a drink (but the drink was $1.50)…possible miscommunication. But I felt the prices are way too high. $18 for a burger combo after the up charges. We also ordered the brisket egg rolls since I read on reviews about how wonderful they were. The burger was the best part of the meal. The onion rings didn’t taste homemade. The egg rolls were just ok. Not sure if we’d make a trip back or not just because of the high prices. If I brought my family we’d spend $100+ on lunch and I can do a lot with $100 for groceries. It was nice to try. The restaurant appeared clean. The women’s restroom was also clean.
