Taste of Italy — Restaurant in Long Beach

If I’m being honest, this place is a solid one-star operation: • The crust is dry • The sauce is somehow both bland and acidic • The cheese is suspiciously rubbery, like it came straight from a vacuum-sealed bag labeled “cheese product”

BUT — and it’s a weird “but” — it took me back.

One bite and suddenly I was 11 years old again, sitting at a sticky cafeteria table with a rectangle of pizza on a plastic tray, chocolate milk in hand, and the faint smell of disinfectant in the air. This pizza tastes exactly like that. Like public school lunch. Like cardboard comfort. Like budget nostalgia. And for that, I’ll give them one extra star.

Would I come back? Probably not. Would I recommend it? Only if you’re craving a time machine to 5th grade.

So yeah — one star for the food, one star...

I found this pizza spot on accident but it was the best thing that happened to me. I love the specialties pizzas they have the chicken Alfredo is my favorite, they also have single slices for sale that are a big portion and filling. This place closes at 3 am which is great for a late night snack/ meal. They also sale desserts hamburgers and burritos you get the best of all worlds. Definitely recommend you try this place at least once...
