My Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Longview

(7/22/17) This was one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. The food was inedible and the service was horrible. If I could I would rate this place -5 stars. Would not feed this stuff to an animal.

(10/30/17) UPDATE Seems someone that we can only assume as the owner "Maysee?" is offended by my honest and accurate review. I received a message today, one simple word from her "bullsh*t". And I must say that I agree, that is a great adjective we can use to describe the level (and attitude) of service and the quality of what they call food. Would not feed this stuff to an animal. If there were an option I would give this place a -5 star rating. It was and still is the worst dining experience I have had. This establishment is a huge let down, save yourself the issues and head over to Siam Spice or go to Woodland and eat at Mali Thai, both are phenomenal and the service is worlds better.

(1/1/21) UPDATE It has been over three years since my review, also posted my original review to google. The owner is still harassing me about my review which only goes to show they are a shady place. This was a response to my review on Google tonight from the owner. "Response from the owner 6 hours ago Some people in there life are not happy with anything ,hope there life turns around soon" It's safe to say the Maysee is the one unhappy with her life. We found this little hole in the wall by accident. A good one too! It is in the middle of a residential area - FYI. The small facility gives personalized experience for guests.

We had Mussaman and Red Curry. The Mussaman had chicken and the red was all veggie.

Mussaman was a thicker curry, assuming due to the peanuts. Plenty of chicken well cooked. Lots of veggies included. The white rice is a bit crunchy to allow for soaking up the curry. Hubby got level three Hot x1. He seemed to think mine was a bit spicer than his.

Red was loaded with colorful veggies. I had the same rice and the cook on it made for a firmer rice when eating with the curry - I liked that a lot. I got medium heat - plenty of spice for me for sure. I could have taken it up a notch but preferred to limit my spice sweating 🤣

Overall a good place to try if you are driving...

I have lived in Longview 2.5 years. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered this little gem of a Thai place in town. I have been there several times and have ordered several of their offerings on their menu.

I have never been disappointed and it's especially nice when the owner Pam remembers your name when you come in. My all time favorite is her Yellow Curry with chicken. I usually time it so I can take advantage of their lunch specials.

I have to admit that this place is located in not a typical place for a restaurant, but it's always clean and quiet not something you find many places these days.

I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for excellent Thai food in the Longview area. Tell Pam Wayne sent you...
