Los Tres Hermanos — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I want to give a good review BUT I need to give a honest review. This Place is a hit or miss - it just seems like there is all ways something.

One visit, they have a salsa bar, so of course I have to try all 6 salsas BUT out of 6 salsa 2 defenenitly bad and the 3rd well on its way to be bad too. I let one of the servers know, in the 45 minutes to an 1 hour there the salsa never changed and customer continued to put on their food unknowingly. ..bad

2nd visit my son and I order our food and we order and go to sit down, to wait for our food. My son is sitting across from me and we are talking, then I notice a bug crawling on his shoulder, so I tell him and when he turned he head to look, I see 4 more on him...long story short, that corner when we started looking saw about 20 more of those big flying bugs. I let the staff know and they acted like I was bothering them and they did nothing. I hope NOT TO...

Terrible. We placed our order at the counter and sat down. After 15 or 20 minutes, we still hadn't received our food. I noticed that other patrons in the restaurant who came in after us, were getting their food. The girl who didn't take our order came to our table and asked to see our order which was on the receipt. Apparently the girls behind the counter were more interested in putting together take out orders, than our own order. Approximately 40 minutes after placing our order, did we receive our food. No explanation, no reason, no apology. I almost walked up to ask for a refund, but didn't. The food was good. The 2 girls behind the counter are a poor example of employees for such a nice place that puts out good food. We will not be going there again. Once again, rude and disrespectful service. I used to love this place but it was always hit or miss but what made me stop going was finding a ladybug in my salad yes! A Ladybug!! I even took a picture and showed it to the girl working there, the owner happened to be there and we told him and his response was this “ Things like this happened and it’s not our fault they come in the lettuce “ 🤨 I guess that is easily solved by Washing your lettuce well anyways I didn’t like his response and he never offered a refund or anything soooo never went back again. Maybe if I would’ve least gotten an apology and refund I would have given it another chance since I was a customer for years.
