Magma Grill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I decided to try this place because of the good reviews. The establishment is clean, and although the service was slow, I didn’t mind because I wasn’t in a hurry. It’s nice to see they’re taking their time to prepare the food properly.

I ordered the beef shawarma. While the beef was well-seasoned, it was dry, not fresh, and served in small portions. However, the rest of the ingredients were fresh. I noticed that the person who ordered before me got their meat fresh and uncut piece displayed in front of the counter. In contrast, my meat was taken from the back of the kitchen, already sliced .

Here’s a tip: when ordering shawarma, choose a place where you can see them shave the meat fresh in front of you. This way, you can gauge its freshness and are more likely to get better portions.

RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED on October 24th, 2024 this place charged me over $46 for inadequate food, small portion, small meat and mostly rice. 2 plates and 4 beverages. The woman behind counter also claimed not to have change.

The food is not very good, it was mostly rice and a rude woman works here - it is A RIP OFF. They didn't even have prices in the store like they can charge whatever price they want. the Magma mediteranian grill is VERY BAD PLACE.

The place looks like they spend a lot of $ on appearance and the food is not worth the price, places should make better food rather than spend on fancy furniture / decorations / flooring... it looks nice but the food is low quality and very expensive for...

I came across this bakery through here and read all its great reviews. So I decided to give it a try. You guys! This place is not expensive at all!!!! The owner is super sweet and creative! Most places needed a month notice to prepare for a such a cake.. not here! I called Sunday and they had it ready for the following sat! You guys tia cake was beautiful and it was so delicious 🤤! Everyone at the Quinceañera loved it and asked where I got it from. This 3 tier cake fed more than 150! I thought it was gonna feed way less than that.. so happy and recommend this...
