In disbelief & STUNNED by the absolutely terrible & equally upsetting experience I have just encountered, which should be understood by others as intolerable and not be taken lightly at the very least. Understandably, even though We live in such a fast paced society and usually can’t wait for the day to end so we can do it all over again the very next day, both the customer and the employed should respect each other’s time. So it should be within reason to assume as a customer or consumer of anything at all, we want to be respected and appreciated for our monetary contribution to the business’ bottom line, the loyalty to such business, even more so because the customer is the most important asset to any business. With the minimal treasured time we have to rest, recover, and sleep the mere fact I am taking the time to type/eloquently say all of this should speak volumes. Now going on 55 minutes putting this post together. Show some support, if to anyone, at all, at least support your local community members.
7/12/21 An upsetting & consciously made choice to not satisfy the customers request for boba, stating they were all out of boba as I also overheard one employee mention to the other employees that there is enough boba remaining for one drink. I watched 6-8 more customers turned away also. Bad attitudes, bad acting-manager for the night 7/12/21, condescending, stopped serving boba at 9:30, 1 employee mentioned there was enough boba for 1 drink, I was blatantly ignored when I asked for the boba. Literally laughed at on my way out the door. Prior to tonight I have been a daily-to-weekly regular customer... other crews, led by a female-manager [I am definitely an equal rights advocate, so to be clear, I only mention the gender to detail the specific facts regarding my visit earlier. Until tonight, I had not met or seen a male manager at the SYLMAR location].... ALL OF THIS to then ultimately find out my satisfaction was the simplest to achieve—-the boba is microwaved... how difficult would it have been to whip up another batch ... which could’ve easily pleased 8+ customers that might have gladly complimented opposed to posting a complaint on this public forum. After fact checking my bank statements, I’ve spent close to $500 over the span of a year, apparently my money is of no value to this business. Clearly, I need not be respected at all regardless of my customer loyalty/ being a returning/regular customer who has always shared a mutually cheerful & pleasant interaction(s).
Please repost, share & make others aware. Ive never had anything remotely close to a bad experience at this local business, in fact, out of a non-over/understated but actual 50 visits, 49 out of those 50 have been perfectly pleasant experiences. Hopefully this is perceived as it is meant to better, which is from the stance of having every right to feel offended as I’m not one to act entitled or complain often or at all.
If I could have any kind of support or acknowledgment of anything I have stated at all, PLEASE, please please please PLEEEEEASEEE boycott Tea&Me next Monday or Monday evening 7/19/21
I am of the community and a lifelong local of Sylmar/San Fernando. Can my city have back & show some support to my request ? What if this happened to you or your son, daughter, family member, friend, or bf/gf/partner ??? Would it be ok then ?...
Read moreThis place is warm, cozy and comfortable. The place has exposed brick and is inviting to walk inside. There is plenty of seating and the place is well lit. They provide wifi for their guests. Tea N Me has something on the menu for just about everyone as the selection is quite extensive.
I ordered the Mango Smoothie and thought the $4.50 price was somewhat high until I received my smoothie. It is quite a large drink at 32 oz and the taste was phenomenal. Made with real ice and fresh mangos I simply wanted to keep drinking the smoothie and thought that it was a great value albeit the high price.
Tea N Me deserves a repeat visit as I want to come back to try more of their smoothies and perhaps...
Read moreMale manager, extremely aggressive and rude as soon as we walked in. After completing my order he decided that I recovered my receipt to abruptly from his hands. Then proceeded to tell me he would refund my account and that I should never return. They don’t use gloves but are concerned how many members may enter with u when ur all together. I’m a first responder so understand the severity of covid but rudeness is not called for. He was more then happy to assist the people behind me that were outside. I think he was just racist cause I’m not Hispanic like the majority of their customers. They should post that on the door!! We will be rude if ur...
