I stopped at a nearby hotel for the night on my way back to Eugene from a quick run to LA, and was hungry. First thing I did was look for nearby restaurants near the hotel so I could grab a bite to eat and relax without driving. This place was across the street so I walked over. They had my favorite dish on their menu, Camerones El Mojo de Ajo, so I ordered it. The nice woman said that it would be awhile, as their were a few orders before me to be completed. Cool, I went back to the hotel for a bit and the came back about 25 minutes later. Still not done. This I took as a good sign, as I didn't want fast food. I was not disappointed. I took the take out back to the hotel, situated myself, and dug in. So damn good, the best I've ever had. Telling my friends about the place brings tears to my eyes. I am planning a weekend back to Los Banos soon to experience...

Third time eating at this establishment. Today 3rd visit was a horrific experience. Menudo was not prepared right or was old or semi-spoiled. It was YUCK!! I informed kitchen staff. Which turns out he states of being Owner. I asked staff if i could have the Taquitos plate. He stated he would not be refunding monies for menudo. I informed Owner "how am i supposed to enjoy, much less, eat this menudo which didn't taste good. And may be spoiled. Refused to refund. So i left, angrily. After giving Owner alittle of my mind. Roommate ordered a chili verde burrito YUCk!! Another mess. Never will support this establishment. And will tell everyone i know to steer as far from this establishment as possible! Very kind and attentive staff. Food was absolutely delicious.
Had 2 Quesabirria tacos. Double the regular portion of meat. Cheese was nicely melted. 1 cabeza taco. Meat was juicy & tender. Healthy portion as well. 1 pastor taco. Giant pile of meat, very flavorful. Not as juicy as I would like but the good taste compensated. 1 Agua de horchata. Absolutely one of my favorite horchata drinks. Not too sweet but very rich taste.
My friends ordered fish tacos, burrito, quesadilla, torta, and enchiladas. Everyone said their food was really good and they enjoyed...
