Our family usually enjoys eating here and it’s been delicious until the last couple of times, but today was the worst experience ever. They were out of all the sides except beans and green beans. We paid for sliced brisket and were told they would bring our food to our car. Like fools, we didn’t check the order when it came to the car. There was barely any beans in it at all and the brisket was all chopped up, not sliced. It was dry and half the pieces were just burnt ends. The shredded pork was extremely dry as well. There was only one person working at the time. It’s not a cheap place to eat by a long shot. We’re never going back there. It was only 7 p.m. and they don’t close until 9. It’s a shame and disgraceful how far the food and service has fallen. It’s as if they just threw the last of the worst food in a tray to get rid of it and charge people for it. I’m very disappointed and don’t suggest anyone go there after 5 because you probably aren’t going to get the good stuff. It’s always important to check the boxes they give you before you leave so you can get a refund right away. This was highway robbery and beneath what they used to pride themselves on claiming. Everything looked picked through and the meat was so dry and burnt in some places that it was not edible. I wanted to add that some of these exact issues have been going on for years according to the reviews I read below. One was from 4 years ago. Obviously, the owners don’t have any interest in better service, better food quality or cleaner atmosphere in the restaurant. No wonder the young lady working by herself tonight was so miserable. You can’t expect to keep a good or happy employee if you don’t even bother to try to make improvements, yet it doesn’t stop the prices from going up. It makes me wonder if the owners are just going through the motions, hoping they go bankrupt so they can close the place. It’s never going to be an option for people to return if you don’t care about your customers or employees. The owners should be embarrassed beyond belief. I don’t know how they could claim to be a good BBQ restaurant to other owners of the same type restaurant. It would be a joke if it wasn’t really happening and obviously being done on purpose.

This is by far the worst Dickey’s I have ever been to. I will not be returning. I placed an order at 11:10, 10 minutes after they opened, for 16 wings and an order of fries. I drove there after putting an 11:30 pickup time online. My food had not even been started and the restaurant was empty. I got my food at 11:50, and the order was wrong. I got my actual correct order at 12:20, more than an hour after I had placed a small order and they weren’t busy the whole time I was there. The most depressing part was my fries. I payed $4.50 for an order of fries and the small bag they came in was 1/3rd full of fries. I could have held them all in the palm of my hand and had room for me. For almost $5?!? And they must have been the first thing done because they were cold when I picked up the first, incorrect order. Don’t waste your money or time coming here, there are a million and one better places in New Orleans to go to.

This has to be one of the worst and most poorly run places I’ve ever been to. First of all, I ordered from what I thought was a different restaurant but ended up being a Dickey’s virtual brand. When I arrived, none of my food had even been started yet. They needed me to explain what I had ordered so they could begin cooking it. So here I am, an hour after my scheduled pickup time, waiting on mediocre food. Skip this place and do yourself a favor. Edit added a star back because the people who worked there were really kind. In no way should this review reflect upon the people that were working this evening. They were trying their best.

Will never go back. One in Harahan is so much better. We walked up to the counter and waitied and waited. The guy didn't even acknowledge us. So, we walked to the other end of the counter where the check out was and he didn't acknowledge us either. Finally, the other guy tells us to come back and order. We ordered 3 pulled pork plates. He makes the pork and then passes it on to the guy at the register, who did one of the sides. There was a to-go orders and he was having problems ringing them up. Went back and forth numerous times. Then a guy that was eating there walks up and wants to buy 2 cookies. Didn't know how to ring it up. Finally, the manager, Cornelius, comes and shows him and actually jokes that he doesn't know how to use the register. He could care less that we had been waiting and waiting. Didn't even pay attention to the line forming. We waited and waited and the food is obviusly cold at this point. Finally, he attempts to ring up our order. I had 3 $25 gift cards that I just purchased from Sams Club. He tells me the first one only has $14.06 on it. At first he admited it had $25 on it but not sure what he did. The guy at the register then lies and claims that he never said that. The manager took up for him and didn't believe me and said I should call Sams. I finally asked if we could have our meals while he tried to figure out how to use the register. So, I go sit and he comes back saying that I owe $44 (should have been $32 or even comped at this point). By now my family has finished their cold meals and I haven't even started mine. So, Cornelius tells me that they other gift cards have 0 balance. I just looked up on the Dickey's website and yes, they each have $25. Afraid to use a credit card there, I paid cash and left. Also, no ice cream - broken and nobody cleaning tables. Extremely poor service and poor management (Cornelius). It took us about 45 minutes to get our cold food. Manager...

I hope the owner reads this review of the encounter I had yesterday with the woman who was working there. Pretty sure her name is SHERELLE. From the minute I walked in she was so rude to me and was talking to me the entire time with an attitude. And I eventually got fed up with that (as anyone would) and told her there is no need to be rude I was not being rude to you so why are you catching an attitude. I defended myself because I was not gonna let myself be talked down to for no reason. She didn’t like when I defended myself and then CALLED THE COPS on me in front of other customers. You can check the cameras and see and hear for yourself that she started with me first by being rude and disrespectful. Not only did she call the cops, SHE IS SO PSYCHOTIC SHE FOLLOWED ME OUTSIDE and RECORDED ME and my car. Literally all of this started because she was rude and disrespectful to me, and I simply defended myself and she didn’t like it. CHECK THE CAMERAS AND SEE FOR YOURSELF WHAT HAPPENED. SHE NEEDS TO GET FIRED, if u hate ur job go find another one. THIS SITUATION NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED IMMEDIATELY. YALL NEED TO FIRE HER BEFORE SHE DOES IT AGAIN TO SOMEONE ELSE. No one should talk to someone the way she talked to me and in front of other customers too. They gonna lose a bunch of customers because of...
