3 ce boba — Restaurant in Madera

I checked it out with my wife since it was new place. Let me just preface with, I don't normally like boba drinks, but this place did it right.

I actually ordered the Okinawa milk tea with no boba. At this place you pick your ice level and sweetness level of the drink. I had 50% ice with 50% sweetness no boba. My drink taste delicious and had taste of tea and creaminess of the milk. It was perfect.

I also happened to try my wife's drink. She order the same flavor I did. Okinawa milk tea but with 100% Ice and 100% sweetness. She also had boba in her drink. Obviously her drink was too sweet for me and my drink was not sweet enough for her. But that aside, the boba was on point.

Normally at places like this the boba are hard and tough to chew and cakey/powdery....overall not a good taste in the mouth. HOWEVER, this did it right. The boba were gelatinous, melted in the mouth with just a small chewy end. You can also taste the hint of syrup on the boba to add an extra sweetness.

Tried this place out today! Finally, I got my Boba fix without having to go out of town. It's a nice, clean little spot. We got our orders very quickly and the drinks were delicious! This place is a little bit pricier than the spot we go to in Fresno, but they have great options! My husband had the ube drink, my daughter loved her honeydew milk tea with lychee jellies and of course my tiger milk tea with brown sugar and egg pudding. They have snacks on the menu, which we are definitely going to try when we come back.

On my way to Fresno from Texas on a 20 hour drive. I was skeptical of stopping by a small boba shop at a small town, but the moment I stepped in, I was very impressed.

The shop was incredibly cute and cozy, and I was greeted with a warm welcome. Looking at the selection I couldn’t decide what to get because the whole menu looks so good! I ended up getting the Okinawa milk tea and my GOD!! This might have been the best milk tea that I have ever tasted.

It has a perfect blend of tea and cream and the boba texture was perfect. I finished the drink in less than a minute and immediately bought another one.

Next time I’ll be back here for sure...
