I’ve been ordering from here frequently since the pandemic began, and I can honestly say they make the best fried chicken I’ve ever had - including the many places I’ve tried in Korea! While most of my orders were takeout, I did eat in a few times when it was safe to do so, and I will say that their service was not the greatest and our orders were wrong 2 of the 3 times I ate in. However, they were quick to fix the errors, so I didn’t mind much. My takeout orders were always correct and just as crispy and fresh as it was when we ate in. I’ve introduced many people to this place, and they’ve all loved it as much as I do, if not more!
There was one incident today when I ordered takeout, but the manager’s very sensible response made it completely fine. The person taking my order was a new employee, and despite physically pointing to the menu and confirming my order verbally several times, the new employee put my order into the computer system incorrectly. Furthermore, the order they put into the system was incorrectly filled. Given the multiple mistakes, I called to let them know, but the person who answered was entirely unhelpful (though perfectly respectful and apologetic). I don’t blame him since he likely did not have the authority to do much, but it was really frustrating that he kept offering free fries instead of just fixing my order. He even told us (more than once) to come back and purchase another order of chicken and that he’ll just add some sauce for free. This call, in addition to being left with food we did not want nor ordered but had to pay for, put us in a terribly sour mood, so I asked him to tell the manager to give me a call. The manager was extremely understanding and kind, and he apologized profusely. He very proactively mentioned that this whole ordeal must’ve left us in a bad mood and that we should’ve gotten what we ordered. He immediately made things right by refunding the full order. I definitely will continue to eat here and recommend this...
Read moreI have spent, and without exaggeration, THOUSANDS of dollars here. For many years, I have been getting the Garlic Soy Gizzards. The orders used to fill the box to the brim, and because of my loyalty here, once they heard my voice over the phone, I used to have INEVITABLY large orders. Now, not only are the prices twice what they used to be, but the orders are literally tiny. I used to eat more when I was a toddler. I gave this place close to 30 chances to redeem themselves amidst the issue, it just kept progressively getting smaller and smaller. I SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO SEE THE BOTTOM OF THE BOX THROUGH MY ORDER!!!! The service here used to be so great, that I had an order of gizzards EVERY DAY for about 6 months. I have to be one of the most original customers here. I place my order over the phone, and no matter WHO picks up when I call, they always know the order. I’m very sad about how things changed. I don’t deserve to get treated like this as a regular customer. The only thing preventing me from leaving one star is the fact that I like your workers. Otherwise I would leave 0 if only I could. This picture with the mediocre amount of gizzards was taken TODAY before I even took a bite. Please fix this and I will happily continue spending my money here. But as of today, this was probably officially my last order here ever. Literally...
Read moreHere is one new place (for me) in our neighborhood. Korean chicken prepared on different ways. Wings, tenders, spicy, sweet, onion, garlic - whatever you wish! Food: really good. We ordered Tiku garlic soy tikku, tikku red hot tikku and seasoned garlic spicy ( but they brought me seasoned garlic soya by mistake :-( ) all tenders. It was delicious, no complaints about the taste. Service: although the staff was very fast and polite, I experienced few things I was not happy about. First, my friends got their tenders fast. We all waited for mine. Since I didn’t get them after a while, I asked what happened with the order. It was never placed, so they started preparing it then. Ok, mistakes happen( they didn’t charge for my order because I got it late, when the others already finished theirs). BUT I ordered spicy tenders and got soya( sweet) ones. At first I was surprised where all the spiciness disappeared, thought maybe i lost the feel for spicy but when they brought a check and i saw Soya instead of spicy with price $0 I realized I got the wrong order. On top of that the cashier charged my partner twice, and then had to void one payment. As I mentioned, not a big deal, but I am sad I didn’t try the spicy seasoned tenders. Because of those small mistakes they got a 4 starts. But i will be back to try the one I...
