Delicious Balance — Restaurant in Manchester

So, I googled BEST FOOD NEAR ME because I knew I was hungry af but I didn't know what I wanted. ALMOST went to get breakfast...but God closed that door and steered me in the direction of this amazing Caribbean spot in the food court in the Mall of New Hampshire 😍. How often do you Google BEST FOOD NEAR ME and the FIRST result is actually the best??? Well that stands true with this one! This is a true gem to be in New Hampshire for sure. Even Caribbean food on other islands didn't taste this amazing! (GUAM specifically, even though it isn't a Caribbean Island, they still had a terrible version of Caribbean food there). We ordered the Pork, stewed chicken, stewed ribs with a side of black beans and rice and avocado salad which had a slight kick and hint of jalapeño in it! I'm from Tennessee and I can safely say this is some of the best cooked pork I've had and that says a lot! Everything was delicious and nothing was left to second guess about. We ate here 3/22/24. My hubby wanted to try after reading good reviews. We liked it! I got Spanish rice with pinto beans and steak and plantain, hubby got same rice with black beans and beef. They were very good. Food had flavor and was tasty. The meat was very tender and the gravies delicious, with nice salting. He got bottled water and I got Small passion fruit drink, but it was very syrupy and too sweet for me, but better after I added water.

The woman who waited on us was brusque and kept trying to press us on making a decision on what to eat, even tho there was no one else waiting to be helped and we didn’t know what we were looking at in the pans. She wanted to get back to scrolling on her phone I think. We had wanted to try the oxtail, but they were out.

I forgot to take a photo when I first opened the box. The plates were LOADED with food! Night for two meals. Each plate was $11.99, so very reasonable. Pic is after eating for a while!

If you haven’t heard me talk about this place…just wait until I’m hungry for the day; Delicious Balance allows me have the meal my body needs to be efficient for my work day without fail!! I’m a manager at Ulta Beauty and I always get a plate of rice with stewed chicken broth (because it’s easier to eat in 15 minutes) and sometimes one variety of their pastellios or chicharrones! When I have time to eat; I dive into their bowls, fried chicken, stewed beef or other sides like corn and beans you can throw into the plate! You can’t leave without trying their house drinks either.
