Read moreWould not recommend. The Farm lost regular customers tonight. We have had issues in the past including cold/bland food and once not getting assigned a server (we went to the bar to order drinks after an hour) which we have ignored as we get how busy a restaurant can get on trivia nights but tonight was 10/10 the worst.
Our group ranges from 3-6 and we go to the weekly trivia even though it is late on a work night. As young adults we don't spend much and this is our one night out. That being said almost all of us normally get drinks with at least two getting food(late night start past normal dinner time).
Tonight we put in a reservation as recommended due to anticipated high volume. We did not request any specific area and when going to be seated the front person was told only one or two people would order food. We get sat at the bar and start with waters. 1 mixed drink was ordered right away. At about 50 min in the last member of our group arrives.
important part
At an hour in (10 min after the last person arrived and as he was opening the menu) the manager came over and told us not to sit at the bar area again if we were not going to get food and drinks. Last member to join orders food (as was planned), another mixed drink is ordered as is a glass of wine as was originally planned and as is usual for us. Normally I would get food as well but I was focused on trivia(big potterhead and in charge of answering the questions) Yes this is not much food and drinks. Yes we could have sat somewhere else(And were willing to! We did not ask to sit at the bar) but we normally order ~$60+ worth of food and drink. Not much but since we have been coming for 2 months it adds up. (We also tip well. I regularly tip 30-50%)
The person who ran trivia was told to eliminate us as the manager said we had only ordered water.
We ordered more than water before elimination. We were eliminated before the last guest had a chance to order. We were not given a chance to order after receiving that "warning" before we were eliminated.
Had we not been eliminated we would still go every week. Instead we will be having game night at...
Read moreWe had reservations, entrance went smoothly. Waitress started out rude, maybe too busy, but we were looking forward to a great dinner then a show. Ordered apps and drinks. everything was running slow, understandable these days. The other couple in our group received their food. We, the other couple, waited 10 minutes and looked for our waitress, could not get her attention for another 5 minutes. She approached and asked how everything was. We pointed out that we had not received our food yet, she had no idea and asked if we really hadn't gotten food yet. The waitress went back and came out with our plates, she thrusted mine at me and spilled the gravy down my arm in my sweater and into my pocket. She did apologize but after the rude attitude and events previous, I asked to see the manager. The waitress argued that we were in the wrong and wouldn't get the manager for a several minutes. The manager came out and was very aggressive, did not listen, yelled at us the whole time. We tried explaining our experience and she said she didn't have time for the conversation said we were bad customers, go somewhere else and be their problem. She continued with I am taking your food and you need to leave. She then chased us out of the restaurant, literally, yelling at us the whole way out in front of an almost full dining room. I AM DISABLED and she chased me out of the restaurant!! All for complaining about gravy being spilled on me! We were all embarrassed by her name calling and yelling at us as if we did something wrong. I reached out to the owner and still...
