Bullgogi Korean & Poke — Restaurant in Marietta

We recently dined at the Marietta Square Market and made a stop at Bullgogi. My husband ordered the Raw Poke. It was a fantastic fusion of flavors, with a sushi rice base topped with spicy tuna, regular tuna, spicy crab salad, and an impressive mix of toppings and sauces. What really stood out, though, was the unique twist Bullgogi added with Korean elements. The poke had a delightful kick from the spicy sauce, but it was the pickled radish and kimchi that truly made it shine. The kimchi, in particular, was his favorite, adding an unforgettable depth of flavor that set this poke bowl apart from the others we've tried.

The service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, answering our questions with ease and helping us decide on the perfect dish.

Not sure what happened here. Quality used to be consistent and it was one of our favorites. Last weekend we got some poke bowls to-go and took it home. The spicy tuna was disgusting. Extremely fishy with an "off" taste, and it was tough. We requested a refund and got it. We thought we'd give it another go tonight... same problem. Something has changed and it's not good. I'm really sad. Even the krab salad looked different, too. While traveling for work, stopped in based on a locals suggestion. Best recommendation I’ve received on a restaurant in a long time. The Market is loaded with Amazing food. But I had to stick to my recommendation!! No regrets at all!!!
