Turning an old bank into a restaurant definitely creates a unique vibe, and this pizza bank nails the atmosphere. 👍 The space is impressive right when you walk in. We were warmly greeted by a gentleman who literally rushed to hold the door for me and my teenage daughter which gave a great first impression. Star ⭐️ 1 It was 8pm on a Saturday night, and even without a reservation, we only waited about 10 minutes to be seated. 👍 Quick note: the kitchen closes at 9pm, which feels a little early for this type of spot, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. The noise level was super loud , hard to talk, but we loved the music. The service was excellent from start to finish—fast, friendly, and professional. 👍 I had a Maine Root Beer while my daughter stuck with water. We ordered within minutes, and our food came out quickly. Star ⭐️ 2 For appetizers, we tried the rubbed wings and roasted broccoli. The wings were phenomenal—so good we ordered another batch to go. The broccoli was tasty to me, though not my daughter’s favorite. Star ⭐️ 3 The rest of the meal was a mixed bag. The menu highlights their pizzas as “well done with crispy edges,” but the execution didn’t wow us. 👎 My gluten-free pizza (onions, mushrooms, mozzarella) had a crust that was bland, cracker-like, and a bit too charred.👎 My daughter’s plain cheese pizza also fell flat—she missed having pineapple as an option and thought the crust was overdone and it was overall lacking flavor. 👎She did enjoy her mac & cheese, though. 👍 We finished with their house-made ice cream. They had unusually unique flavors like Miso and other odd concoctions. We chose more traditional flavors. I had vanilla with caramel swirls, and she tried the coffee chocolate chip cookie flavor. Both were incredibly rich—so rich we couldn’t finish half. 👍 (Heads up: the coffee ice cream is very strong.) The check for two small pizzas, two apps, a mac & cheese, two small ice creams, plus tip, came to $110. That’s higher than I’d expect for pizza and ice cream with my teen, but I assume part of the cost is for the unique setting. Honestly, I would prefer less atmosphere and better food. (excluding the wings) The highlight of the night was absolutely the staff ⭐️ they’re the real gems here, and I hope they’re treated well because they made the experience. While we won’t be returning for a full sit-down meal, ( out of our budget) those wings were unforgettable and will definitely keep us coming back for takeout.

Another ‘trendy’ millennial concept restaurant disguised as new-concept but its really just overpriced mid grade dining in a old bank. Acoustics in the restaurant were loud and music echoed. Service was sub-par at best and thats being generous. This place reminded me of a pizza shop i worked at in college that had to keep rebranding. Our waiter lets call him ‘Sid’ had one table, ours. And he didn't have much else to do- or couldn’t find much to do. There was a ton of pacing back and forth by servers that made the dining experience uncomfortable and awkward. I felt like Sid was a shark circling me . The internet situation sucks in here. I asked for the wifi password and Sid and Ian said they didnt have wifi. I could see two networks- Picco-Secure wifi and ‘Pizzaz’ a network for the staff. Whatever. Lie to my face i only look stupid. I order our food and I ask sid for a side of ranch with our pizza. He said they don’t have any ranch. What kind of place is this? Surely the millennial trendiness can’t have gone this far. Pictured below is our $31 large pizza. Outrageously priced and they couldn’t even get it right. The best part was the crust . Our pizza was delivered to our table piping hot without a pizza serving spatula . Whatever i take a slice of pizza. I dont even take a bite of it and the manager walks over and said sorry we forgot a couple toppings we will comp the pizza for you. And he took the pizza off of our table. He returns with the second picture and at that point I was a little fed up. What is going on at this restaurant? Here’s where it gets good. I overhear a conversation our waiter ‘Sid’ and the manager Ian our waiter said something about cutting and going home. Ian says just finish your table and then you can clock out. He finishes his conversation and walks over to the tablet, clocks out and walks out of the restaurant 😂😂 i shit you not this kid quit in the middle of his shift i dont blame him frankly. We waited another 15 minutes for a new server and got out as quick as possible. Didnt bother to stay for the ice cream. We were all set. The bill came out to 100 bucks even after they took the pizza off, which included two sodas a beer, kids mac and cheese, meatball appetizer and a small salad. Won’t be back no reason to dine here when there’s already an overpriced millennial trendy pizzeria in Hudson at Railtrail putting walnuts on pizza and giving people allergic reactions.

If you like Neapolitan style pizza, this is a great dough! Airy and crispy, base is thin and held the toppings well. Sourdough crust is a new favorite (Blue Square does it well too, their crust is a little less airy but also very good) - we tried four types of toppings on two small pizzas- I thought the raclette, oyster mushroom, and lemon would be too strong but it was light, balanced and ended up being my favorite. We also tried the garlic broccoli, pepperoni, and sausage ricotta. Their homemade ice cream, miso blueberry and malted chocolate chip were a delicious way to end the meal. Our new go to pizza place for take out for sure!

Dined at picco tonight for the first time and will probably not return.

The food was OK nothing to ride home about. I feel like if I was really craving pizza I would probably just stick to rail trail for what you get. It does seem slightly overpriced, but I guess that’s how It is given inflation. The ice cream was delicious, but you could get average pizza anywhere else for cheaper. I had one cocktail which was a dirty martini and was probably one of the worst drinks I’ve ever had not only did I not get olives in it, but the olive brine just tasted sour and not good.

The service on the other hand was absolutely horrible. I ordered one drink, and it took roughly 25 minutes for it to get out to the table. The food took an additional 30 minutes on top of that and the ice cream, another 15 and by the time the ice cream got to the table mine was melted. I have never tipped so low in my life going out to a restaurant, but I really just couldn’t justify doing 20% on service that was actually horrible. The waitress barely came by and checked on us and the place wasn’t even that busy for a Thursday night, And it felt like staff was just pacing around everywhere kind of looking lost on the floor.

The atmosphere wasn’t horrible. I like a more moody decor so I thought it was really cool especially how they turned this into a restaurant from an old bank. However, the music was incredibly loud. It was hard to hear other people at the table. The tables are also very close together, so you feel like you’re on top of other families or guests when you’re trying to have a meal or a private conversation.

I waited a while to try this restaurant in hopes that they can iron out the kinks But after this experience, I unfortunately will...
