Sello's in Ocean City, MD....WOW... Well, my only regret was not being a little more dressed up, thank God we were not the only ones wearing shorts. My friends and I had no idea this place was so exquisite, it looked very upscale yet it was very affordable! It was a delight, from the very beginning!! Our waitress was on point!! She knew what she was doing, she knew the menu by heart but they are also very pleasing as to switch or add something to your plate; for example we wanted arugula in our oven pizza with prosciutto, it was delicious!! Very Italian made!!! My pasta was YUMMMMY!!! The scallops not over cooked, very well made!! We were extremely happy with our meal, the food definitely satisfied our expectations, it was very well executed and tasty, none of the ingredients were overpowering the others, you could enjoy all the different textures and flavors. I was also very drawn to the details put into this place...the decor was made with love and glamour, the owner was definitely thinking about enhancing their customers' senses and experience!! If you want to impress your family or your loved one, it is definitely worth the visit!!!

Ask my wife, I'm not huge on Italian food. I mean, why people love pasta so much is beyond me because unless you add butter or garlic or sauce or SOMETHING, pasta tastes like pretty much nothing. But, at Sello's here, I got the Salmon Tuscano. It comes with rigatoni pasta and asparagus. Little did I know that the buds of my tongue would do a little happy dance when eating it. My wife is a top-notch maker of Bolognese. Like, really good. So she ordered the Papardelle alla Bolognese. It comes with homemade wide ribbon pasta. But the problem with being so good at making Bolognese is anything else just isn't good. While she enjoyed having the homemade pasta, she overall didn't enjoy the meal because of the Bolognese. She said it tasted more like a regular tomato sauce because they didn't brown it. I'm not a cook, so I'm not sure what the means. You'll need to ask her. The atmosphere is like an Italian restaurant from the old country. Table placement is a little close so maneuvering around is tight. The service was good, though our server was somewhat slow to respond. I think she had quite a few tables she was covering. Overall, I'm not sure I'd go here if in Ocean City again, but I think I can confidently say that if you like Italian food, you'll like this place.

Molto Saporito! Sello's is a hidden gem of West Ocean City. The pricing is a bit on the higher end but worth every penny. The venue is clean and inviting. We went off season and were able to get seated with ease. The portions are generous. We ordered the fried calamari for an appetizer and it did not disappoint. Not heavily breaded that allowed for a more refreshing bite. The dinner rolls just came out the oven when we got ours. It was delicious, light and fluffy. They also offer butter instead of olive oil which I prefer. Their choices of wine are plenty but few choices of beer. The food was very delicious and savory. The service was ok, not great considering the volume of people there. The dessert cheesecake was meh and gets overshadowed easily by the creme brulee. I definitely recommend this place if you want a fancier date night out.

Causal romantic atmosphere, great for conversation! Food and drinks are delicious and unique! Must try if you're in West OC.
