Abner's Famous Chicken — Restaurant in Memphis

First time customer…Ordered online for my lunch@11:48 ..food was not ready when I arrived at 12:15 yet it gave 12:05 ready time. Waited an additional 35min to find out my order was given to someone else. While waiting I observed the cashier give out a incorrect order to another customer. The customer replied “ this is all mine? I only ordered tacos” There’s no organization, orders are ready waiting and getting cold yet their is only one person taking and handing out orders. Cashier was not wearing her mask but continuously would walk around the counter engaging w/customer while handing out the Togo orders. This taking up valuable time and exposing herself unnecessarily. Had dinner here on yesterday with a friend and overall everything went well. 5 stars on the customer service and Zondra did a great job of getting our order correct and providing top notch customer service. She came by our table to make sure that everything went ok and she kept the area and tables nice and clean. She also offered us free sweet tea which was nice. We ordered the wings and tender combo with mild wings and lemon pepper wings. The wings and tenders were fine. The French Fries were cold and not fresh and that was the only disappointment in this visit. We visit Crosstown often so I plan to come back here again. I always get curious, when some Business proclaims that they are ‘famous’, instead of their clients 😂🙄. I was passing by, and then suddenly decided to check out the place. It was evening, and the place was entirely empty. I didn’t have a good hope, and then my experience echoed my speculation. I took some chicken wings as togo. It took almost 15 minutes. They probably fried them fresh, and dumped them in a sauce puddle. I choose the sweet cili sauce. The wings came with some fries. And, they were the worst fries that I had ever in my life.
