On July 30th i went to this location waited in line for almost 15 to 20 minutes ordered a $7 chicken sandwich that's advertising lettuce tomato cheese and special sauce... I get home and find there's no lettuce. So i called and spoke to the female manager and asked if it was supposed to have lettuce. She said YES but they were out of THAT type of lettuce and she apologized they failed to ask if i wanted the OTHER lettuce or let me know they were out. She offered to fix if i brought it back. I told her i didn't have time. So she told me to just come back another time and they would replace the meal. So I return tonight and the system is DOWN so I explained I just need a meal replaced. THESE PEOPLE ACTED LIKE THEY CAN'T REPLACE A MISTAKE THAT WAS OFFERED TO BE REPLACED FOR ME?? I HAVE TO REMEMBER MANAGERS NAME I SPOKE TO AND SHOW A RECEIPT FROM 2 WEEKS AGO. BUT Y'ALL AREN'T EVEN BUSY??? I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS TOMORROW BECAUSE THE ATTITUDE THEY HAD WAS NOT ANYTHING PROFESSIONAL!!! I USED TO WORK FOR WENDY'S... THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT... HOW DID THESE PEOPLE GET A JOB HERE? ACTING LIKE I'M ASKING FOR SOMETHING THEY OWN WHEN THAT IS WHAT WAS OFFERED TO ME BY MANAGEMENT ORIGINALLY?? THE ORIGINAL MANAGEMENT WAS UNDERSTANDING BUT TONIGHT I DON'T KNOW WHAT THESE PEOPLE WERE DOING TRYING NOT TO WORK TOO HARD??? ACTING LIKE THEY BOUGHT THE FOOD??? WHO KNOWS... BUT I WON'T BE RETURNING TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN! I JUST WENT TO KFC NEXT DOOR AND SPENT MY MONEY...
Read moreWorse experience at this Wendy's to date. The customer service is far below adequate at best but today they took it a notch down. I was sitting in a long unmoving line for about about 5 minutes or more and no car had moved. Finally, a car drove off and then another and another and another. After making it to the speaker to place my order, I sat there 3 minutes and then I called inside to ask if the drive thru was open and was told yes. At some point, someone hit the inside speaker monitor and you could hear the laughter and joking going on inside. I pulled to the window as an employee (and there were several lagging about) appeared with a money tray. She never acknowledged me. As I waited to get her attention, more cars exited the line - as did I finally.
This Wendy's is the only one around for several miles and they have gotten beyond indifferent to their customers, they are now exhibiting pure rudeness and nonchalantness to put it mildly.
There is a McDonald's a couple of blocks away so I will have them address my future burger/salad needs but I wanted to bring this to someone's attention. Time is valuable; so are customers. This location is AWFUL in so many ways but at least you were able to grab a quick bite en route home but not today and not for several cars in the drive-thru line..So sad. They really spoiled my evening.
Are there any NEW LOCATIONS COMING in this area? I love Wendy's food but it's become too frustrating...

My experience at the Wendy’s on Winchester was TERRIBLE. This event took place at 10pm. It took me 15 mins to place my order at the speaker. When I arrived at the speaker. I had to constantly repeat my order. He kept asking me “what else”. When he repeated the order back to me,.. he got it wrong twice. SLOW BUS SHORTY!!! Anyway,.. When I drove to the window. They are waving a medal plate to reset the drive thru time. GHETTO. When I received my order, My order was incorrect and I was missing a sandwich. I TOLD THE BIG LADY WITH THE BLONDE DREADS THAT I WAS MISSING FOOD SHE HAD A NASTY ATTITUDE. “It’s in the bag!!!!” WRONG AGAIN. I did not receive a receipt, napkins, straws and my chicken sandwich didn’t have cheese on it. I told him add cheese no veggies 3 times!!!!! My chicken sandwich had A LOT OF MAYONNAISE ON IT. YUCK!!! EVERY THING WAS A MESS AND RUSHED OUT. I have been at work all day, and I trusted Wendy’s on Winchester to VALUE ME AS A PAYING CUSTOMER.
