This place deserves 20 stars! One of THE BEST places in the USA I have visited. The food is phenomenal: it’s creative, delicious, made to the table, and the presentation is UNBELIEVABLE! Incredible atmosphere, fresh wild flowered on a table, old-school soft jazz music played on a turn table (!!), and a cozy warm feeling of a small European restaurant - we felt like on a vacation abroad and not in NJ. Our server Francesca was just outstanding - she described every meal with such a passion that my partner and I wanted to order everything on the menu. Francesca takes pride in the restaurant and really is an amazing person. The other waiter, Jeff (sorry if we are wrong) was very friendly and accommodating. My partner and I could not stop saying “awe” with every new meal we ordered, and later we went to shake a hand to the chef, Philip Manganaro. Hands down my favorite restaurant by far. Everything is so well crafted, even down to the sconces on the walls, and you can taste the passion Chef Phil brings to his dishes; quickly followed by the pristine service by Josh. I can’t say enough good things about Park Place, but what I can say is that I will be going here every chance I get. Every experience at Park Place is exceptional. As a Pinelands employee, advocate, and lover, Park Place nurtures an appreciation for foraged ingredients not just from NJ but other areas that are special to Phil. I loooove Park Place. There are only 5ish tables. Only one seating a night. Super quaint. Real Records playing. Josh the host is amazing he is kind, he takes his time, he makes sure you’re comfortable and cared for. The chef is fabulous he cooks everything and actually forages some ingredients for every dish. Lots of love goes into each dish. There is no menu so you eat what your served- that’s the fun and adventure of it ! It may take you several months to get in. But it’s worth the wait.
