At this particular location they are famous for walking to the back once you walk in the door. Instead of greeting you and saying welcome they walk the opposite way. So I have gotten almost used to this until today. The employee who was to help me really doesn't understand English very well and really didn't want to be there. As I placed my order and she put it to be toasted, I asked for a second request which was for two more items that they have on menu. When it was time to ring me up for my items, I now have a sandwich and two nachos. I simply asked for a bag to place them all together. She said, I don't have. Then she turned around and said it's for Uber eats. I said I just need to get one bag to walk home. She refused. She said that I could talk to her manager tomorrow. I said well give me a refund today. She refused. She went to the back room and came back out talking about we can call my manager. This location is going downhill by the day with folks who don't want to really be there. She didn't understand and all she could do was tell me to come back tomorrow talk to her manager. Read moreI've sent a letter to the corporate office. The employees here speak no English. Today I showed up with a coupon, BUY ANY SUB and a drink and get one of equal or lesser value free. This lady on the counter spoke to me in Spanish and said it was for a 6" sub. I told her it was for ANY SUB. She told me she spoke Brazilian which is Portugese, Italian and French,,,,, but guess what this is the US and she spoke no English. She threw the sandwich and had another girl make it who was rolling her eyes. I guess SUBWAY has morons hiring and their manager probably don't speak English either. I spend at least $100 a month on Subway and this local area continues to be the worst. If you hire people who speak no English,,,,,, train them in communication skills. If there are coupons, teach them what they mean. This girl argued with me in Spanish, never spoke a word of English and I am an American, bred and born here. The young guy making the subs with his pants under his hip showing his nasty gray underwear (Date 19th August 2021 Time between 5:25 pm - 6:00 pm) rudely told everyone waiting for over 30 minutes to purchase, as he made two subs for one online order, "There is another subway at 82nd street and I don't care as he cursed under his breath. No one had anything disrespectful to say to him, only asked if the other customers waiting had order or if we were waiting for all the online orders to be completed, before he helped us.
