āļøāļøāļøāļøāļø During our trip to New Jersey, my mom and I decided to try Amici’s, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness from the owner it immediately felt like a place where everyone is welcome, not just a pizza shop. We mentioned how we were from Scranton, PA. That kind of energy makes the food taste even better, but trust me when I say the pizza speaks for itself. Now, I have to explain something: I’ve never really been a ā€œpizza person.ā€ In fact, I didn’t even start eating pizza until about 8 years ago, and even then, I’ve only found a couple of places where I actually enjoy it. So when I tell you that Amici’s is on a whole other level, I mean it. The crust was perfectly baked, the sauce had the right balance of flavor, and the cheese just melted in your mouth. Every bite felt like it was made with love. My mom is a big pizza lover, and even she said it was the BEST pizza she’s ever had in her life and for her to say that means everything. What makes Amici’s stand out isn’t just the food, though. It’s the whole experience. The owner didn’t treat us like customers; he treated us like family. That genuine, welcoming spirit is rare to find these days, and it made us feel right at home. I never thought I would find a place where I could say, ā€œI LOVE this pizza,ā€ but Amici’s has truly changed that for me. This is the SPOT. Every time I come back to Jersey, it’s going to be my first stop without question. If you’re in the area and want pizza that will leave you talking about it long after your last bite, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won’t regret it. Highly, highly recommend! My mouth is watering just thinking of it right now 🄲

I got a chance to sample a slice of their white pizza at the Jersey Eats NJ Pizza Festival. The slice was the first one I had and yet it is still one of the most memorable for me. The crust was crispy yet soft and unbelievable - no flop! The pizza was savory and had the perfect dollops of ricotta. The cheese wasn't slopping off, everything stayed together nicely. It even had a unique crust that had "everything but the bagel" seasoning encrusted on top. I normally don't go for a white pizza but seeing this at first glance I just felt gravitated to try it and I'm glad I did! This is a great family operated pizzeria. The family is super kind and proud of their business which I took away in the few moments I interacted with them at the festival. I wish them all the best and hope to stop by for some more of their pizza if I'm ever in the area! I recommend you try them!

Ordered takeout over the phone on a Sunday afternoon around 4:45pm. Quick and easy. When I picked up, order was all correct. (Large margherita pie. Large buffalo wings with Bleu cheese. Penne vodka with chicken) Easy drive to get here (right off route 36) Plenty of parking spots. They are a part of a small strip mall that includes a sushi spot, gym, dollar store, nail salon etc so parking is never an issue. Wings were the crispy and just the right amount of sauce. Pizza was perfect, melty cheese with the thin crust that was in between soft and firm. Pasta was huge.. it was packed full with chicken. Needed a little salt though. Hands down the best pizza for the price around the area. They also have a loyalty program. Just add your phone number and after you spend $100, you'll get 10% off your next order.

I can assure you- I am a fair person when it comes to reviews. Part of my livelihood depends on that. This was my first time at Amici. I recently moved to the area. The young man who took my order over the phone was extremely pleasant. I will say that- absolutely pleasant. While I was disappointed that they did not have buffalo wings or boneless wings, I placed my order, which was a large pizza with half pepperoni an order of fries and a half of a chicken Parm sandwich. I was told it would take 25 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later. I was greeted by a young man, who seemed a bit confused and apologized. He stated my order was not placed. I was calm and confused myself. Never had an order at any restaurant not placed. I was approached by another gentleman behind the counter, who offered to make everything for me. He shared that the chicken Parm would be up in a moment or two as well the fries, but that they ran out of pepperoni and he had to send someone out to get some. I asked why I wasn’t called and given a heads up, if in fact, my order was not placed? So that left me even more confused. Was my order placed or not? I get it-stuff happens and you run out of supplies. Just call the customer and give them a heads up and the option of waiting an additional 20 minutes Unfortunately- I was under time constraints and could not wait an additional 20 or more minutes. Given that I had to take my kid to the doctor, an hr drive from work- I had to order Chinese takeout. So please consider my review as positive feedback. We all make errors. Customer service, and communication is paramount. I’ll give you guys another shot...

If you’re looking for an authentic New Jersey pizza experience, look no further. From the moment you walk through the door, you’re hit with that irresistible aroma of fresh dough, bubbling cheese, and perfectly balanced tomato sauce, the kind of smell that instantly takes you back to childhood pizza nights.

The crust here is exactly what a Jersey pie should be: crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, with just the right "bubbles" by the crust's edge. The sauce is bright, flavorful, and seasoned just right: not too sweet, not too tangy, and of course, fresh basil. The cheese? Melted to perfection with those little golden brown spots that pizza lovers dream about.

Our go to is "The Bees Knees" pie, which has pepperoni, hot honey, and ricotta. We also get a plain pie (cheese) each time we order, not just for the kids, also for snack slices over the next couple of days

The place is family owned and operated by some of the best people I know. You can taste the love and generations of knowledge & skill that goes into the food.

Great people, amazing food, and NJ Devils fans to boot. This place is a local staple and Garden State gem. ...
