Frick's Sports Bar Midland — Restaurant in Midland

Used to love this place but not anymore. I won't be going back. Service was slow, people left after waiting to be acknowledged and no they were not busy and had plenty of staff. Staff was too busy standing together and talking to one another about BBC among othe inappropriate things while children were at the bar. Yep, it's a bar but have some decency. The bartender was carrying the bottle opener in her mouth and then opening customers bottles, the waiter kept his order pad down the back of his pants, the guy that delivered our food was touching his face/mouth before grabbing our food and bringing it out, another waiter was touching his piercings and then delivered another tables drinks...I could go on. Just spreading germs left and right. The food was hot but it wasn't right. The bathroom was clean; I guess that's a plus. Very disappointed in the menu options. A small group of friends stopped by Fricks after a funeral service for one of our dearest friends. The bartender, bless her heart for putting up with us, was amazing and the WONDERFUL dude, that for some reason, we can't remember his name but we called him Austin the rest of the night because he lived there for a bit, but he was tall and had short almost spiked dull white hair, a basketball jersey on and had glasses and he was most gracious to our little group of life long friends. It was our first time stopping in there after the reopening. All of us agreed that we would most definitely do it again. We got a little loud at times and apologized for it but considering the circumstances that we were there for, our bafoonery was forgiven. This place is great. We visited 3x on our anniversary weekend getaway. The service is fantastic - waitresses are so friendly and attentive. Fun, welcoming atmosphere. All the games and pool tables are awesome and are why we kept coming back. Their cocktails are good, and Bloody Mary's were yum. I've never had a pickled Okra before, and it was so tasty. We enjoyed their free pool tables on Sunday. They have a jukebox and multiple TV's all over for sports. I can't speak on the food because I didn't eat here. But this was our go-to place for the weekend, and next time we visit, we'll definitely be back! Thanks for a great time and great...
