We had an incredibly disappointing experience with this Dominos location recently. My son got married a couple weeks ago. It was a beautiful wedding with 220 guests at a top downtown Milwaukee venue. Our catering, bar service, DJ and multitudes of vendors were all exceptional. We had several options through our caterers for a “late night snack” during the dance, but my son and fiancé specifically wanted Dominos pizza. I created an online Dominos account, and two weeks before the wedding placed an online order for 25 pizzas to be delivered at 10pm to the wedding venue. I received an order confirmation email. I called the dominos store THREE DIFFERENT TIMES after placing the order to ensure they had it in their system, understood the venue delivery instructions, etc, etc. I was assured we were all set. 10PM on the wedding night, and NO DOMINOS! I called the store to see where they were, and was told “yeah, your order didn’t pop up in our system tonight so we haven’t actually started making the pizzas. Not sure what happened. We could be there in about an hour or cancel the order”. Unbelievable. We cancelled the order given it wouldn’t arrive until well after 11pm, and I spent the last hour of the wedding apologizing to our still partying, dancing guests who were eagerly waiting for a slice of pizza. When I called the store a couple days after the wedding I was told by the assistant manager that “the order is right here in the system. Not sure how that could have happened. Wow, that’s really bad”. Still, despite my request to speak with the store manager “Neil” he never bothered to call or explain what happened (pathetic). It just amazes me that a business like Dominos can drop the ball like this, and there is no explanation and no recourse. After filing a complaint on the corporate website I got an obligatory call from customer service to say “sorry and we can send you a gift card”. Doesn’t really cut it. So I guess I’ll draw my own conclusion. Either the Dominos staff is incompetent in not noticing a $400 order in the system, or they just didn’t really feel like making 25 pizzas that night, or the Dominos online ordering system has major defects. Read moreI didn't want to make a bad review after one bad experience, but it's been a couple of bad experiences in a row now.
First occurrence, the pizza tracker said the pizza was done, I waited on a call from the delivery driver, but never recieved a call/message. Waited about 10 minutes just to see if maybe the tracker was just off. The tracker restarted and went back through the same shebang. After the second delivered tracker status, but no call or text, I decided to call the store. They claimed to not know if the pizza was delivered or not. Eventually found my pizza 15 minutes later. Pizza boxes had no labels, so I'm not even sure how they knew where to drop off the order or what the order even was. Labels typically have the customers number so I assumed at the time that's why they didn't call.
Jump to a month and a half later. Similar deal, tracker resets itself twice. I get a message that the pizza is on the way. No call or text that the pizza will be left in the lobby or whatever. Instructions say please buzz the buzzer so I can know you're here, as delivery drivers always leave food on the floor for some reason. After about 10 minutes I just go down to find the pizza. Same deal, no labels or anything; just hope your neighbor didn't also order pizza ha. Pizza is always half with meat and half without, but is never cut equally which is a minor thing but you'd think cutting a pizza in half wouldn't be too hard.
Biggest issues I have with this location is the quality of the delivery service. Not sure why there are options for contact or contactless when they don't even contact you when your pizza has arrived. Don't have a request box or make it clear that delivery drivers will not buzz, come up, text, call or physically hand you your pizza. Now I always tip, right, because everyone has to make a living but if I have to search a building for my pizza or call the store because I'm not even being contacted it gets kind of annoying.

Read moreVery disappointed, I will no longer be ordering from this location. In the past I had never had a problem with this location. I placed an order through the app for delivery. I got a call from that the driver that he was outside the apartment. I told him I would be down in a bit. It takes me no longer than 1 minute to come down. By the time I reach the entrance there is no delivery man and no pizza. I go out of the building and there is no one. I wait for a few minutes and nothing. I call the store to figure out what happened and am told that the driver had left the order on the bench because according to him I had told him to leave it there, when there is NO bench in my apartment and I had not told the driver anything other then I would be down in a minute. Then the manager Michael proceeds to pretend that he could no hear me and the call was cutting when in reality it was not and he was faking it. He ultimately offered in a rude manner to remake our order. I ultimately decide to call back and request a refund. On both ocasiones the customer service was horrible.
