Where do I start. My roommates I ordered three of the Minecraft meals, pretty easy order I would think. This is on a Tuesday at 10:30, btw. The woman at the window gives us two of the three boxes, and then hands us a regular bag and tells us she ran out of boxes. Yes, we are 19, but we came for the toys, and we didn’t get one in that third meal. We told the worker this and she went and got her manager or another worker, who comes right up to the window and says “You can’t get this for free.” ??? I didn’t ask to get it for free, I asked for what I paid for. We told her what we had is not what we ordered and she told us no, straight up. You clearly DONT know what we ordered because you gave us the wrong thing!! We asked for a receipt, and she cockily hands it to my roommate, who then sees a completely different name on the receipt. The other worker leaves while we scan the receipt, showing things we most definitely did not order. For example, our drinks were: A Hi-C, a Fanta, and a frozen blue Fanta. The receipt said: Mocha and Dr. Pepper… I don’t know what you think Dr. Pepper looks like but it isn’t orange or blue. I think if the worker took even two seconds to listen to us, or look over the receipt she handed us more thoroughly, she wouldn’t seen she was in the wrong and was getting combative with us over something was wasn’t even our fault. Done with the rant, but the service was poor this time around (clearly) and the food was cold, so safe to say...
Read moreImagine paying for food and not receiving it. Now imagine the person in front of you paid for your food, so you decided to be nice and pay for the person behind you's food, but when you get to the window they informed you they gave your food to the person who paid for it, And when you try to explain the situation, they cop an attitude and tell you you can't have any food now. Well that's what happened to me, and on top of that, they called the POLICE on me because I told them that I wanted AT LEAST the food that I paid for. They made me wait 45 minutes for an officer to arrive who eventually went in and got the food that I paid for. A couple other customers stopped by me and agreed the manager was being ridiculous, and said they also had issues with her when they ordered. I worked in fast food for many years and every time we gave people the food that they ordered, even if someone else paid for it. But to not give someone the food they ordered because someone else paid for it? Trying to be nice? That's crazy! They vilified me, a paying customer, and wasted my time, their time, and a police officer's time! Whoever the manager was tonight did an awful job, all she did was turn a minor situation into a much bigger deal. All this does is make me want to avoid this McDonald's...
Read moreI just had to take a moment to rave about our local McDonald's, especially the wonderful team that works there on Sunday nights and throughout the week. My daughter and I have been here probably about 15 times in the last year since moving here, each time, we've been met with fantastic service.
Most recently, on Sunday, December 8th, I was particularly impressed by the staff. They were not only friendly but also incredibly attentive, ensuring that our order was just right. It's clear that they take pride in their work! The fries were hot and crispy, and the food was always fresh, exactly what we expect from McDonald's.
What stands out the most is how the team manages to maintain such a positive atmosphere, even amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy store. There’s an obvious chaos that comes with peak hours, yet the staff remains cheerful and seems to genuinely enjoy their work. It’s refreshing to see employees who are not just doing their jobs but are also engaged and happy to serve customers.
We truly love this McDonald's, and it’s the dedicated team that makes our visits special. I really hope they receive the recognition they deserve for their hard work and outstanding customer service. Keep it up, team—we'll definitely be back for more delicious meals and great...
