Stonegarden in Minneapolis completely blew me away. The food is thoughtful, fresh, and made entirely from scratch, and the service is just as impressive. I got the House Benedict with a scratch buttermilk biscuit, house-made bacon, and silky hollandaise. It was so good I finished it in what felt like seconds. My husband ordered the Poutine, piled high with fried potatoes, cheese curds, smoked tomato gravy, and a sunny egg on top. The portion was generous, and every bite was hearty and comforting. We ended with the Belgian Liege Waffle with sugar pearls, raspberry compote, and maple syrup, which was the perfect sweet finish. What really made our visit special were the people. When we walked in, the owner greeted us right away, seated us, and later brought out our food. He was personable, funny, and easy to talk to, and you can tell how much pride he takes in the restaurant. Our waiter had that same energy. He was friendly, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about the food. Between the food and the people, Stonegarden is the kind of place you don’t forget. We’ll absolutely be back. ✨

Stonegarden is not just another breakfast and brunch spot; it’s a full-fledged dining experience that leaves a lasting impression on every guest who walks through its doors. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by an atmosphere that effortlessly combined warmth and charm, making it the perfect retreat for a leisurely morning or afternoon meal. The ambiance of Stonegarden is a delightful blend of rustic elegance and modern comfort. The décor features natural elements, with greenery thoughtfully placed throughout, creating a soothing environment that feels both inviting and refreshing. Soft lighting enhances the cozy atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for enjoying a relaxed brunch with friends or family. The open layout of the restaurant fosters a sense of community, while intimate seating areas provide privacy for those special conversations. What truly set our experience apart was the service we received. Our server was an absolute gem—her attentiveness and dedication to ensuring we were well taken care of were nothing short of exceptional. She greeted us with genuine warmth and was enthusiastic about the menu, offering insightful recommendations that catered to our tastes. Throughout the meal, she checked in regularly, making sure our drinks were filled and that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Her proactive approach to service made us feel valued and cared for, elevating our dining experience significantly. A memorable moment of our visit was when the chef took the time to come out and greet us personally. This unexpected gesture was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to customer satisfaction. He not only inquired about our meal but also presented us with a complimentary dessert—a delightful touch that showcased the chef’s passion for his craft. The dessert was not only a sweet ending to our meal but also beautifully presented, reflecting the same attention to detail that defined the entire experience. Now, let’s talk about the food. The breakfast and brunch offerings at Stonegarden are simply divine. Each dish we ordered was expertly crafted, showcasing a rich array of flavors that delighted our taste buds. The menu featured a broad selection that catered to various dietary preferences, from hearty classics to lighter, innovative options. Every plate was a work of art, beautifully arranged and bursting with freshness. The quality of the ingredients was evident, with each bite telling a story of impeccable preparation and culinary creativity. In conclusion, Stonegarden is a treasure for breakfast and brunch enthusiasts. The combination of an inviting atmosphere, outstanding service, and exquisite food makes for an unforgettable experience. Whether you’re looking for a place to catch up with friends, celebrate a special occasion, or simply savor a delightful meal, Stonegarden is a must-visit destination that will leave you eagerly anticipating your next visit. Make sure to bring your appetite; you won’t want to miss a single delicious moment!

What a gem!!! I was blown away by the natural light, the plant material, the cozy banquettes by the entrance, exceptional, effortless service, the crisp decor, cute wooden floral centerpieces and some fantastic dishes. What was a quiet corner is now a beautiful new place to enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch. My favorite by far was the French onion omelette. Caramelized onions, gouda and parmesan perfection!! I also enjoyed the Mediterranean tartine. Black mission figs, balsamic onion ricotta, prosciutto, whipped honey. The chicken broth was fun. Hard to share though. I'd probably just order that to go to enjoy later next time. The quiche Lorraine was a miss. Two at the table ordered that and neither finished it. Maybe we just got an overcooked batch? I will definately be back to try the gravalox and a Bloody Mary as they have a full liquor license! It's a really great vibe and a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. Thanks to our server Nicole for a fantastic experience!

If you are searching for a food-forward/chef-driven brunch spot, look no further. Clean atmosphere, friendly staff, and fantastic cuisine and cocktails. Their emphasis is bone broth which caters to all dietary restrictions and is a great way to satisfy your stomach before getting your food on the table. I personally LOVED the classic veggie broth.

What I really enjoy is that I often want something sweet AND something savory for brunch, and here the sides are all add-ons which makes it so much easier to curate your own brunch based on your taste. In to starting off with a Bloody Mary and oysters? They got you. Scotch egg and waffles? You got it! If you’re like me, a vegan, it can be difficult to find a place that you can enjoy with friends and family that suits your needs too. The avocado tartine has the fluffiest avocado mousse with a great flavor profile (and the egg is an add-on). As for the sweet, the parfait for me without the nut granola (which I’m sure is delish), gives me the sweet and savory pairing I love. If you aren’t big into cocktails, mimosas, or bloody marys for brunch, they have an extensive espresso and spirit-free section. Book your reservations because this place is going to...

A nice place with potential but we had a mixed experience. Our server Abraham was great. The atmosphere was lovely. The menu has a lot of tempting options but not everything was a hit. The veggie bone broth had a great flavor but was almost too salty to drink. The chicken broth wasn’t too salty. The breakfast potatoes were very under seasoned. The filet tartare had a nice flavor but was piled high on such thin toast that the ratios were off and the bread didn’t hold up. The chili had more of a rustic tomato stew vibe than the beefy umami you want from chili, and was served with no toppings. The parfait was beautiful and tasty. One of us has a capsaicin allergy which prohibited a lot of options you might not expect (the hollandaise was premade with Tabasco and featured in many dishes), and this is an unusual allergy so that’s not really a complaint on what was available, but the kitchen did make a mistake telling us something was safe that we realized later wasn’t. Luckily one of us caught it before the allergic person ate it. So, overall, it was lovely in many ways but enough was not quite right so couldn’t give more stars. Will go back and try...
