Read moreIf you are searching for a food-forward/chef-driven brunch spot, look no further. Clean atmosphere, friendly staff, and fantastic cuisine and cocktails. Their emphasis is bone broth which caters to all dietary restrictions and is a great way to satisfy your stomach before getting your food on the table. I personally LOVED the classic veggie broth.
What I really enjoy is that I often want something sweet AND something savory for brunch, and here the sides are all add-ons which makes it so much easier to curate your own brunch based on your taste. In to starting off with a Bloody Mary and oysters? They got you. Scotch egg and waffles? You got it! If you’re like me, a vegan, it can be difficult to find a place that you can enjoy with friends and family that suits your needs too. The avocado tartine has the fluffiest avocado mousse with a great flavor profile (and the egg is an add-on). As for the sweet, the parfait for me without the nut granola (which I’m sure is delish), gives me the sweet and savory pairing I love. If you aren’t big into cocktails, mimosas, or bloody marys for brunch, they have an extensive espresso and spirit-free section. Book your reservations because this place is going to...
Read moreA nice place with potential but we had a mixed experience. Our server Abraham was great. The atmosphere was lovely. The menu has a lot of tempting options but not everything was a hit. The veggie bone broth had a great flavor but was almost too salty to drink. The chicken broth wasn’t too salty. The breakfast potatoes were very under seasoned. The filet tartare had a nice flavor but was piled high on such thin toast that the ratios were off and the bread didn’t hold up. The chili had more of a rustic tomato stew vibe than the beefy umami you want from chili, and was served with no toppings. The parfait was beautiful and tasty. One of us has a capsaicin allergy which prohibited a lot of options you might not expect (the hollandaise was premade with Tabasco and featured in many dishes), and this is an unusual allergy so that’s not really a complaint on what was available, but the kitchen did make a mistake telling us something was safe that we realized later wasn’t. Luckily one of us caught it before the allergic person ate it. So, overall, it was lovely in many ways but enough was not quite right so couldn’t give more stars. Will go back and try...
