Great dim sum place. A group of people is the best way to experience this, I recommend between 6-14, as more than that and you'll have your group split on multiple tables, but less than that and you won't get to try everything. So many choices! There are vegetarian options if you know how to ask about them, but most everything has pork or shrimp in it so I wouldn't recommend this to your veggie/vegan friends. If you see the almond tea go by with puff pastry on top, grab it before it's gone!!

Went there for Saturday morning Dim. There weren't many people when we arrived shortly after 10am, but by the time we left an hour later, it was full. The food is ok and the selection is good. Service is acceptable but it would be helpful if you could speak Mandarin or Cantonese. This place must have been around for a long time.

The best Dim Sum in the Los Angeles area. Ample seating, excellent service, great prices, and, most importantly, super yummy food! Solid recommend, don't be late!

This review is less about the food and the overall customer service experience. I've been a few times over the course of my life and recall the food is on par with the adjacent Chinese Restaurants in the Monterey Park area (of course I have my favorites), but wanted to express some of my frustration trying to work with the staff who answer the phones.

I called in asking to speak to the Manager and someone who speaks decent English so I could further coordinate ordering food for 160 guests for a large reception. Just a simple quick conversation to introduce myself and inform them of the date the food is needed. Any further details such as number of dishes, types of dishes, etc. I wanted to invite my Caterer and the OCR Manager to speak in person at the restaurant and not do that over the phone.

I had this same call with 2 other Chinese Restaurants in the area and they were so nice and accommodating and understood what I was looking for. They were also willing to set up an appointment times with me to meet in the future and to talk through the details.

Instead at OCR, I am greeted by a very rude employee (not the Manager even though I've asked to speak directly to him/her) who is 1) not listening to me 2) constantly interrupting and talking over me 3) raising his voice over and over 4) eventually somehow turned it into some sorta argument when all I was trying to convey was that I wanted to set up a meeting and talk through the deposit and details. So so rude!!! OVERALL extremely poor customer service!

I was not rude or loud in any way and continuously kept trying to calm him down and to explain the situation. Instead he kept going on and on and on saying that I can't talk to the Manager, and that I had to just come in without setting up an appointment time, and that they wouldn't entertain the notion of ordering so much food without a deposit first, and the only way to even discuss preliminary info (that I had no problems having with other Chinese restaurants) was to just drop by unannounced. Makes no sense since the Manager may not be in or extremely busy at the moment.

And of course to top it off, he starts yelling LISTEN TO ME over and over when the majority of the time I'm literally listening to him yammer on trying to get a word in since he isn't listening to a word I'm saying. Then hangs up on me.

Word of advice, don't even bother calling in. Just walk into the restaurant. Make sure your wallet is full of cash. Then they'll talk to you. This establishment has lost all my...

I can't believe what we had last night for my husband's70th birthday banquet on 1/20/2018. The first course was a combination plate with char siu meat , cucumbers, jelly fish, some kind ham? and seaweed were putting together without any decorations; not even a carrot flower or any coriander. It looked like they were grabbed from the wedding party to pile up. The second plate Fried Pawn with Honey Walnut, they used to be glazed with Mayo but they didn't. They looked like unfinished product. The third plate was a pan fried Scallop & Squids vegetable. It looked like the lunch special plate small circle of pieces of scallop with squids, with snow peas, piled up on a plain circle plate. My husband was making his speech, I couldn't interrupt him and I didn't want to make the atmosphere so bad. I was very unhappy to see that this is the food that this famous seafood restaurant presented their banquet. Some of the food was good but some of the food was ok. The thing that I appreciated was that we requested the long life buns and they did. I talked to them this morning, they said that 's what they usually presented that way. I spent more than $500 and tips for $74. Is it worth of having it? I really don't know. It seemed they didn't mind spoiling...

IT IS CLOSED!!! Sadly, I had made a deposit for my wedding and only learned of their closing because the manager Peter called my fiancée to inform her. We quickly went to the restaurant to see the doors closed and equipment being picked up by vendors in the parking lot. No one would tell us anything about how to get our deposit back.

I learned from the Monterey Park Business License office that the Corporation is named "OSSA Mirarmar Inc". It has an entity number C3235232 with the California Secretary of State Business Records.

The name of the CEO/CFO is Sunny F. Wan. The Secretary is Pamela L Wong. The Directors and Officers are: Yu Qun Hong; Ji Xuan Li; and Jason Yuk Kau Wong.

Their CPA is John K. Ng of 328 S. Atlantic Blvd, Suite 200 in Monterey Park.

The City is not permitted to give me their address or telephone information without a court order.

Please help. I would appreciate anyone posting information on how to contact these folks to obtain a refund of my deposit, as it will be time-consuming and expensive to try to file a...
